Through The Looking Glass 2 - Behind The Awkwardness

Through The Looking Glass 2

“This is photo of me on my wedding day before the ceremony started. The photographer told me to pretend I was looking out the window to see if my soon to be husband had arrived. I always thought it was such a goofy picture because I couldn’t see a thing out that stained glass window.”

The Big Dig - Behind The Awkwardness

The Big Dig

“This is my family. Maybe 1977. The beautiful backdrop of the golden sunset on wallpaper accentuates the glow of happiness on our faces. My little sister is clearly the champion. My dad was a part time photographer in the 70’s, and we took lots of posed family portraits. This one my sister found deep in the archives of old negatives. It never saw the light of day….until now!”

Behind The Awkwardness: Our Little Pumpkin

“My 3 year old was very unhappy about his first preschool field trip even though it was to a fun pumpkin patch. He scowled at everyone and everything the entire time and was even madder after I coerced him to getting behind this pumpkin cut-out to take this picture… if looks could kill, I would have been dead immediately after taking this photo!”

Call Waiting

“After the wedding, my husband’s friends drove to the reception and started calling repeatedly after about 10 minutes while we were trying to take the pictures. January in Nashville was cold – 19 degrees! It was cold, and we kept having to stop so he could answer the phone. Needless to say, after about the 3rd phone call, I had enough! (Note the fist.)”
