    Memories from Columbia…

  2. Amber says:

Well at least they were thinking safety 1st with the protective eyewear… Between the bird, rifle, bayonet and maximum hold hair gel…someone was bound to lose an eye

    PULL!

  4. Greg says:

    That’s not a Bowie knife

  5. Christy says:

I think they plan to “throw the bird in the air and shoot her down.” That’s why they are wearing the glasses :)

  6. Katean says:

Even the parrot has his head canted to the side as if to say, “These people are cuckoo!”

  7. Spoo says:

Hilarious! Ahh, the 70′s when hair was big and glasses were even bigger! And velour shirts for men! Sigh, those were the days…

From the awkward way she’s totin’ that weapon I’d say the gun is his and the parrot hers. Awesome pic regardless of how it happened.

  8. Maros says:

This is the best photo I’ve ever seen.

  9. Chris says:

I don’t agree with the scope placement abd tge barrel is also modified which coould reduce the range of the weapon but it looks very good for an urban or semi close quarters situation

I think she needs to rethink that scope placement.. a scout setup with those glasses? The relief must be huge!

So, I sent this link to someone I knew would appreciate the humor. He did, but now I’m worried about him. His email reply said he couldn’t believe that man was holding a PARROT!
Not that a parrot isn’t a little peculiar in the familiy portrait, but really, that stood out over the terrifying weapon?!

  15. Teena says:

Thank goodness they both have those gigundous glasses on to protect their eyes from the parrot potentially pecking them out!
