I went to school with the two older girls, the one in the blue said she thinks she remembers wearing this outfit all the time back then, it was the coolest!!!
These are totally “Units” outfits, which I remember coveting as a child. We could only afford the cheap versions, but there were girls who had infinite combinations and wore them every day. Ah, the simpler days of wardrobe decision-making these outfits afforded.
I think they are UNITS. I used to work at a UNITS store in the mall in the 80s. She needs more cowls. We used to load them on. And the littlest kid needs some shoulder pads.

They are all so adorable!

These poor girls have reminded me of my growing up years…
OMFG…TINKER TOYS…*looks desperately now for the LINCOLN LOGS*
is this *connect the dots*
I love this one….we had those outfits in the 80′s also!!!
OH my god, my sister and I had those things. I think I even had the fuscia top. Oh the humanity!!!
Oooh, somebody got a BLENDER for Christmas!!!
the funny thing is the girl on the right probably looks the exact same 40 years later….
Yeah she kinda does!! I went to school with the older two.
HOLY CRAP!!!!!
ah, the 80s….
please god tell me it WAS the 80s!
DOTS DOTS IN FRONT OF MY EYES….DOCTOR DOCTOR..!!!!! LOL
i fancy all of them
Awe… the little blonde looked exactly like me when I was that age. haha crazy!
They said there would be side effects.

Their Aunt Dot made them.
The necklace the eldest girl is wearing is so shockingly bright, it’s producing a 3D Magic Eye effect for me on the screen O_o
You can never have too many units!
Has anyone else noticed that one of these “children” are 7 foot 2 inches tall?
I was wondering about that too!
The Units store at ridgedale!! I was too chubby to pull them off!
Can somebody say, “Units?”
Mom made the outfits I’m certain of it…
I love that the oldest girl had to roll the pant legs at the bottom. LOL
Oh Honey, ALL pants had to be rolled at the bottom in the 80s!
I could honestly see this happening to me.
Grandmas…
Maybe the dots all started big, and got smaller as the kids grew up…
how unfortunate
Holy 1980s!!!!!!! The color scheme is priceless.
Egad!!
A walking test for Color Blindness
Only one thing missing here: stirrup pants and leg warmers.
Oh..I guess make that two things.
I think they could really use multiple layers of slouch socks to complete their outfits. Those UNITS outfits were “so cool” in the late 80s.
Hey, someone got Fisher Price roller skates for Christmas! Awesome.
looks like their aunt just learned how to use a sewing machine!
Can’t touch this…..STOP….Hammertime.
HAHA! This is CLASSIC awkward! The colored socks, pegged tapered pants and mushroom hair all scream 80′s suburban glam.
AND THE TREE-TOPPER MATCHES THEM TOO! if I was the little girl I would be soooo mad I didn’t have more dots on my shirt!!!!
Wow! So 80′s!
zactly what I was thinking!
I’m pretty sure outfits like these are cool again in the indie-hipster scene, no?
I was just about to say that; you are completely correct. In fact, these girls are so unknowingly hip they can’t see over their own bellybuttons.

Spot on.
Exactly.
those look like MULTIPLES to me. I had the exact same teal-pink combo.
Awe-SOME! Yes, they were called multiples and I had a bunch of them too – back in the day…
You gotta earn ya Dots in that family, just the 1 for the newb
Good one!
Hah! I was gonna say something like “The bigger you get, the smaller your dots”. But yours is funnier.
