If I submit a photo, will it be posted?

Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we are unable to post every photo. However, just because you don’t see your photo on the site right away doesn’t mean it won’t be posted. So check back regularly to see if your pic is up on the site.

If I submit a photo, will I be notified when it is posted on the site?

Unfortunately, because of the number of submissions we get, the fact that there are only a few of us managing the site, and our commitment to bringing the awkward daily, we are unable to provide this feature. That doesn’t mean we aren’t grateful for your submissions, because we are very aware that without them, there would be no AFPP. Thank you for understanding.

I see a photo of myself or my family on the site that I didn’t submit or give permission for someone else to submit. What do I do?

Occasionally, something like this does happen due to the nature of the internet. Our policy is simple… if you see yourself or your family on the site and do not approve, write us at:

awkwardfamilypetphotos@gmail.com

The photo will be removed asap. This site was created to be a celebration of awkwardness and we are not looking to humiliate or demean anyone. We hope those who submit do so in a spirit of good fun and recognition that we are all an awkward family.
