Wedding

Replica

“My brother and sister-in-law got married about 17 years ago and my kids were asked to be in their wedding party… my son was the ring bearer, my oldest daughter was a junior bridesmaid and my youngest daughter was dressed in a miniature replica of the bride’s gown. In this family photo, we look like a crazy family that just married off our two youngest children, my older daughter looks like she has one oddly placed prosthetic leg, and I’m rocking some sweet shoulder pads.”

Going To The Chapel

“It was my wedding day and our church put up a large sign promoting the sermon topic.  That week, they just happened to begin a series of sermons on sex, money, drugs.  Made for some lovely wedding photos.”

The Wedding Party

“This is a wedding of some family friends. Some if my family is part of the wedding party. I wasn’t born yet. You can see the unhappiness in some of the bridal parties faces, like they know who embarrassing this is going to look.”

In Love And War

“Wedding day got a little heated on the beach. Hindsight is always 20/20.”

The Bouquet Squat

“It was time for the bouquet toss, and after too much liquid courage… the maid of honor began to hike her dress up, and assume an athletic squat in hopes to catch the bride’s bouquet. The hiking and squatting created quite an audience of onlookers. Normally, I tend to hide my camera during moments like these. But the awkwardness was just too much! I had to take this photo. Needless to say, the maid of honor did NOT catch the coveted bouquet. But she sure had fun trying!”
