Awkward Office Photo Contest
Congratulations to Mara and her department for showing true dedication to their craft by dressing up as a bar graph for Halloween and winning the Awkward Office Contest, a package of Horrible Bosses-inspired prizes (including movie passes, official t-shirts, and a desktop beverage dispenser) as well as the brand new Awkward Family Photos board game!
Honorable mention goes out to Janine, whose inspiring beats and rhymes almost won her the title.

“Our Boss had us all dress up like polygamists for halloween. AWKWARD! Especially since it was a collections office, we had customers coming in all day.”
Last Man Standing
“My mom’s favorite holiday is Halloween. She loves coming up with crazy costume ideas and then creating them from scratch. The hospital she worked for often had costume contests among the departments. One year, she got the crazy idea of having the only male in her department dress up as Snow White and the rest as the seven dwarfs. Needless to say, they won that year!”

“This is a picture of a music ensemble with whom I worked for six years, travelling around Canada & the US playing concerts for schools and adults. (I’m the handsome guy on the far right) Taking this picture was itself an awkward experience. We’re all of different heights and somebody had the brilliant idea to shoot us individually and then photoshop us in this weird pose WITH OUR HEADS AT THE SAME LEVEL. To add even more awkwardness, the chosen background is quite hideous as it has nothing to do with the rather random colour schemes of our solid colour jackets combined with whatever you call that thing the woman is wearing at the front. It all makes me think we’re doing a LOONEY TUNES cartoon”
