Free Bird

“I don’t know where this was taken, I think I blocked the whole experience from my memory. I’m not sure why there is a mime next to a Big Bird lookalike. If you look closely you’ll notice Big Bird’s muscular thighs.”

Chest Press

“This is my bro, dressed  as a ‘chest of drawers’ – theses are actually my mums knickers pinned to his shirt!”

Mime’s The Word

“Grandma was a mime, and like all family matriarchs, hoped her grandkids would follow in her ways… silently.”

Oh Mother

“This is a picture of my mom, my sister, and me. Guess whose idea it was.”

Merry Gothmas

“I asked my parents to do a family photo with me and this was the end result. I’m a very festive person.”

Eye Of The Tiger

“This was at my high school Daddy-Daughter Dance in 1990. I loved this sweater and wore it often and the tiger is like a third person in the photo. The hair, the sweater…can you guess that I’m a Jersey girl? :)”

The Good Place

“1996 at a studio. My mom thought it would be a good idea to pose us as angels for our 1996 family Christmas card.”

The Viking Compromise

Dog Sitter

“Resentment at it’s finest…not sure if it’s from the elf costume or for us bringing home this baby!”

Dropping The Baton

“I had been excited all day long for my baton recital. My mom had gotten my hair and makeup done and I could not wait to get on stage. However, I did not know there would be pictures involved. When I was presented to the photographer, I was more than pissed. The face you are seeing in this picture is basically me saying ,’Screw you, Mom and Dad.’ And the hell of it all is…the photographer PICKED THIS PICTURE TO PRINT. My parents BOUGHT IT. My parents GAVE COPIES TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. It will live in infamy on numerous refrigerators, in many photo albums, and now, in all its glory all over the web.”
