Free Bird
“I don’t know where this was taken, I think I blocked the whole experience from my memory. I’m not sure why there is a mime next to a Big Bird lookalike. If you look closely you’ll notice Big Bird’s muscular thighs.”

Chest Press
“This is my bro, dressed as a ‘chest of drawers’ – theses are actually my mums knickers pinned to his shirt!”

Happy As A Clam
“My Halloween costume in 1992: spaghetti and clam sauce. There’s a big plexiglass fork on the side sticking up. My dad dribbled real clam juice all over me so no one would get too close at the middle school dance.”

Oh Mother
“This is a picture of my mom, my sister, and me. Guess whose idea it was.”

Merry Gothmas
“I asked my parents to do a family photo with me and this was the end result. I’m a very festive person.”

The Good Place
“1996 at a studio. My mom thought it would be a good idea to pose us as angels for our 1996 family Christmas card.”

Dog Sitter
“Resentment at it’s finest…not sure if it’s from the elf costume or for us bringing home this baby!”

Dropping The Baton
“I had been excited all day long for my baton recital. My mom had gotten my hair and makeup done and I could not wait to get on stage. However, I did not know there would be pictures involved. When I was presented to the photographer, I was more than pissed. The face you are seeing in this picture is basically me saying ,’Screw you, Mom and Dad.’ And the hell of it all is…the photographer PICKED THIS PICTURE TO PRINT. My parents BOUGHT IT. My parents GAVE COPIES TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. It will live in infamy on numerous refrigerators, in many photo albums, and now, in all its glory all over the web.”

Red, White, And Groovy
“My Mom has always been a creative sewer. Back in the early 70’s she thought dressing the family alike in the cool, trendy flag cloth would be a great idea. Note the awesome brown polyester pants and cool white belts sported by the guys! And little me on my father’s knee! This picture has been out of the family’s eye for decades and I recently dug it out of somewhere. I showed it to my Mom and her reaction was “Good lord, what was I thinking?” That got a huge chuckle from me!”
