Martini Art
“Pre-K gems from art class. I bartended a few nights a week, and I was also drawing murals on glass during the day. My son brought this home from school.”

Wanted Alive
“Our uncle was sick, and this is the get-well card my eight-year-old daughter thoughtfully created for him as he went to the hospital. Inspired by a children’s book of cowboy craft ideas, she made this ‘Wanted’ poster more ‘authentic’ by crinkling it and ripping off the edges. We kept this one, and she created another one that was a little more toned down.”

Beating The Odds
“This is a school assignment I did when I was about to turn eight. I was excited that my friend Kim was coming to my birthday party. I also reminisced about something my mother had said to me when I was younger. Gee, thanks Mom. I loved Miss Smith’s response: “Why not?” My mother and I had a bit of a strained relationship to say the least. LOL.”

Remember When
“My daughter wrote me this letter for Mother’s Day. To be fair, my car was only two weeks old and the guy in the parking garage denied doing anything to it.”
