Hot Tub Bling
“I’m in front, brother in back, mom on right. In a hot tub in a garage in Vail, CO ~1977 after a day of skiing. Brother with very unfortunate head gear (how come kids don’t have to wear that anymore?). Brother and I were in inner tubes, for some reason. I’m pretty sure my mom DOES have a swimsuit on.”

The Masked Santa
“This was 1969 or 1970. I think the masked Santa was my Great Uncle Louie. He liked his beer. I don’t have an explanation for why my parents thought this was okay.”

It’s My Birthday
“We were celebrating my daughter’s first birthday and this picture was snapped of my daughter, her father and her nana. She did NOT want to take any pictures and did NOT want to be held.”

Thanksgiving Meltdown
“That’s me with the curls. Apparently not being allowed to stay at the table was enough to warrant a complete meltdown at the family Thanksgiving meal. Everyone else is doing a great job of ignoring me.”

Orange Snowman
“We decided to be creative and decorate our snowman with food coloring. The snow did not roll well into balls so we had to pack the snow instead. We were so excited to get it colored that we didn’t realize the shape it had taken until after we stepped back to see the finished product!”

Journey To The Center Of The Earth
“My class had to do a project where we were a living museum. Somehow, my ‘exhibit’ was the Earth itself. This was the end result, and I’m so proud of this picture I have it framed in my apartment to confuse guests.”
