Amazing, on so many levels.
There are so many awesome elements to this photo, it is hard to decide which is my favorite. If forced to choose, I’d have to go with the chocker necklace both men are wearing. I can just imagine them shopping for this outfit, then making the decision that it still needed a little something. I can only imagine that one of them found this necklace, and together they decided that this was the detail that completed this look. I only wonder if they then found the complementary earrings, or if the earrings came first. But, really, those necklaces… were it not for those necklaces, their look would have been entirely too understated.
Patient:”You see, Doc, I keep seeing double.”
Doctor: “Am I double?”
Patient: “No.”
Doctor: “Then what are you worried about? Get out of my office!”
oh my god, this made me SCREEEEAAAMMM.
The girls in their match match wind suits are so cuuute! Their boyfriends make me wanna spew! From the hair, to the bone chokers, to the chaps! Naaaaaasty!
Those girl’s hair…
Totally looks like SJ Parker’s hair in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
…and double the comb-over action, too. ha!
better than the buttless chaps on these two
Oh my goodness… this is so funny, like people wouldn’t notice that they were twins in the first place they have to wear matching outfits. Awesome.
“I like to show my individuality by the pattern of my native american choker.”
WOW!! i love the extremely vague advertisement of late 80′s pepsi cans and the over the shoulder brown bag. the guys just may have on thee BEST shell chokers known to man. i would pay cash money for those jeans!!
lol they look like del preston off of waynes world 2
omg how did they manage to wear those pants?
Montreal? I’m guessing Montreal.
wow, great twins, i can’t believe my eyes……
Looks too good to be true lol!
I want a banner of this for my bedroom. Please post your contact info here, if you would like to sell one. Thanks!
Dawson’s Creek?
PHOTOSHOPPED!
I miss the 80′s.
AAAAGH! MY EYES! MY EYES!!!!
burn the nest!
This photo made me have flash backs to all the crappy Paulie Shore movies my cousin subjected me to when I was 16.
This is just awesome.
Their outfits were always “over-the-top” but Richard and Ernest were and are really sweet guys. Richard died very suddenly of cancer a number of years ago, but Ernest still comes to the Twins Days festival and is surrounded by loving friends who understand the pain he is going through.
This photo was taken (by me) back in 1993 at the Twins Days festival. Trust me, everyone would always go “whoa” at their outfits, but… it’s all for fun. These are not guys trolling for dates or “the hookup”, they’re just having fun with taking the dressing-up to a new level. It sure got them noticed.
But – yes – they are sweet, gentle and kind guys. The only reason one of the women is looking away like that is that there were probably 10 or more people taking a photo of all of them at the same time – and to get 4 people to all look at one of 10 cameras the instant you hit the shutter is nearly impossible.
So – laugh if you must, that’s OK. But I just wanted to say that those of you who are reading ulterior motives into why they dress that way, or who are guessing what the women in the photo are thinking about being with them… you’re pretty much incorrect. That is all!

I just don’t think I will ever stop laughing at this picture…
Spoiler alert: These are the missing Cylon models.
Chess King called and they want their clothes back.
Snyder, the evil twin brother, can be identified by his magician-like smirk.
“ok kids, can you find what’s different in this picture?”
Like color me bad and ariel from footloose had babies.
I like the guy on the left. He’s cuter! K bye.
this photo is AMAZING!
nice seashell chokers.
Looks like the same people but in a different expression. I think it’s edited. Lol
I thought this was 80′s, but isn’t that logo on the Pepsi can the more “modern” version? Are these people dressed like that this decade?
Imagine all the fashion and grooming decisions said out loud. “Shall we wear the indian shell chokers? Shall we wear the chaps that emphasise our dongs? Shall we go over our moustaches with a no. 1 razor and leave a kind of ghost moustache? Shall we go with the poodle look again?” etc etc
Whoops … “friends.”
Yes, that is from Twins Days in Twinsburg, OH. 1993 to be exact. That’s a photo taken by Charles Robinson, one of the webmasters for the Twins Days message board. The two guys are Ernest and Richard, two of the sweetest guys you’d ever like to meet. They have a great many firends in the twin world (so to speak.) Sadly, one of them passed away several years ago. And no, they are not related to the two girls.
This is a gem. Only critique is we don’t have family clearly established here.
I’m with Paul. 1991 seems about right–that’s when Pepsi was using THAT logo.
Anyone notice the guys are already doing the comb-over?
I really hope this picture wasn’t taken in this millenium!!
Nelson rocks!
This is a sitcom waiting to happen. Imagine the hilarity and hijinx that ensue when both twins get that brilliant idea to switch places!
what is more unbelievable…
the funky clothes or twins hookin’ up with twins…
handle it…
really?
i just don’t….
what the hell…
i’m at a loss
I wonder if this was at Twins Days in Twinsburg, OH! Funny.
Holy 1984, Batman!
wow. this is so awesome!
I’m thinking more like 1991. That’s when the colors and the long man-hair really got in your face.
I don’t know, man; the logo on the Diet Pepsi can says “early 1990s,” but the Captain Levasseur twins’ party shirts and chaps jeans say “Event Horizon,” so I’m just confused.
Twins are family. And some people feel that long term dates are family as well.
It’s brothers ‘dating’ sisters taken to the most obvious level!
And the outfits make it quite awkward!
Best posting yet.
where the f*** can i get those pants and necklaces?? those are indescribable
Awww. And yeah, that photo makes for one big “whoa!”
Kinda figured this was some kind of “Let’s do the matching twin thing soooooo over the top, everyone freaks out!”
Totally early SJP! Ha!
I think it depends a lot on where you lived. There were guys who looked just like that in my high school circa 1987. I know we weren’t on the cutting edge of bad fashion, but looks that I saw in my high school in the mid to late 80s were showing up elsewhere in the country when I was in college in the early 90s.
No, if you look closely, the two tracksuit tops aren’t identical. The pattern’s different.
I thought the one on the right was actually.
Nick, I’m with you. There are just so many things to make fun of, I honestly don’t know where to begin.
bbbwwwaahahahhah!
OMFG….thank you for the tears!!! LMAO
haahahahhaha im excited that you said the comment twice that made me personally happy
brings back a lot of baaaddd memories.
Pepsi used to be a sponsor at the festival.
There used to be.
If you look closely the two tracksuits are mirror images if they stood next to each other
Robin, look closely-er. They are not mirrored
I just spit my Pepsi on my keyboard…”chaps jeans say “Event Horizon”…you’re killing me. Bravo, Theo.
That’s what I thought the first time I saw these chicks!
