So, I saw this, and my first thought was…I bet this is a winter formal and the theme has something to do with snow…..and then, when I realized I thought this was normal, I came to the conclusion that growing up in the midwest has affected my judgement.
I wish they would like take the picture already…… Studmuffins gets to sit on the sled, while I stand here ankle deep in cold wet snow, getting frostbite on my feet!!! is there a doctor here?
The best part of this is that it’s clear that it is in a studio. You can see the shadows behind them from the lighting. They convinced whatever photographer to let them get their snowmobile in the studio somehow, and then also convinced them to go outside and get some snow to pile around it.
At first I thought the backdrop was ripped at the bottom from the snowmobile, but I think that’s some dirt in the snow.
I actually have a middle school dance pic with a jet ski. The theme had something to do with spring/summer/sun/beach, but I never really got it. It just seemed lame to me. It was a spring formal and people dressed in formal clothes with recreational motor-type toys just seemed *awkward* and hilarious. I think it was a trend in the 90s. I had to laugh when I saw this because of the connection.
Up here in the alpine range the sun is so close we don’t need jackets in the winter, but the fog gets so thick we throw shadows in opposing directions..
I and my family life in manitoba…my sister got married outdoors in November. She wore a custom-made white snowsuit and he wore a black snowsuit. The newlyweds drove off from the ceremony on snowmobiles.
I don’t know why I’m telling this story. Maybe I should send pictures.
ok, so did they wear the snow suits the entire wedding or just for the drive off? or glide off, or whatever the appropriate verb is for snowmobiling (I’m from Florida, sorry).

Two special snowflakes.
Have to say – THANK YOU so much for your blog!!
Pretty rare to find a decent site which isn’t just full of spam anymore
I’ve already bookmarked it so I can come back to it!
It’s from a White Bear Lake High School Sno Daze dance. Yes, you spell it Sno Daze. I actually know those people.
Dull just got faster.
Charity didn’t know how she would tell Lucas she only wanted him for his AG-5798
The perfect break for skiers wishing to escape for some superb skiing!
It’s actually from White Bear Lakes “Sno Daze” winter formal here in MN. How do I know? I WAS THERE! And those two were friends of mine!!
I think this is a winter formal picture, we call it the “Snow Ball” up here in Minnesota.
If it were prom he would likely be wearing a tux and they would have a winter theme.
This picture would even be better if they were both sitting on the snowmobile!
I meant to say they would NOT have a winter theme for a prom.
Is this a prom pic??? OMG!!!

Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats HO!!!!!!
I had the same dress for my prom…I’m going to go cry now
I wish they would like take the picture already…… Studmuffins gets to sit on the sled, while I stand here ankle deep in cold wet snow, getting frostbite on my feet!!! is there a doctor here?
Actually the snow mobile was a wedding gift for these two love birds.
I sent it to them myself. Congrats again!
Thundercats….GOOOOOOO!!
0-to-awkward in mere seconds, though
Give ‘er.
Awww, I think that’s sweet!

in 1996, people at the prom posed with fire trucks…..and cop cars. I wanted to find a harley but it was too last minute
I don’t get it…………………
Submitted by Sarah? Sarah who? Sarah Palin?
And she probably DOES own a compound bow and crossbow!!
Wow, what an action shot. How did they get this at the right time?

are we planning on posting that on here??
ooooh ooooh I wanna see!!!
What an awkward theme o.O
Does anyone else notice what looks like a huge hole in the wall right behind the girls hand?
I don’t think that’s a whole – I think it’s her wrist corsage sticking up (flowers and lace!). Take another look…
Oops, I meant “hole,” not whole.
I think that’s her wrist corsage, not a hole in the wall.
actually, I think it’s part of her wrist corsage.
That’s her corsage. Not a hole.
So, where did we land on the “hole” or “wrist corsage” debate? Did anyone else want to jump…ya know…to state the obvious.
lol…holy corsage
That is a small wrist based compound bow
He needs to put a compound bow rack on the back of that sweet ride
Freakin’ Hilarious Comment!
THUNDERCATS ARE GO!!!!!!!!!!
You had me at Vroom.
very clever!
Shouldn’t they be dressed more warmly? I mean how many people go snowmobiling with a corsage? OK, some do, but not a lot.
Best Winter Formal EVER!
THUNDER….THUNDER….THUNDERCATS……….
Wow! The Thundercat AG5798! This specialty vehicle was meant for driving over cotton.
that’s not a snow plow…
…it’s a compound plow
awesome
hahaha! I luv it!
I’m telling you, it’s a Cross-Plow!
Better Prom theme than my school had…it was: “Evening In Paris” and the Eiffel Tower collapsed on me!
LOL!!!
LOL i can beat that we had live birds and they got out of the cage and one pooped on my head!!!!!
HAHAHA, sorry, but that made me proper larf

Okay THAT was a funny comment. Thanks for launching coke through my nose.
yep…you win.
That’s actually rather cute
i wonder if it was the sweater vest or the snowmobile that first intrigued her?
Prom night in Manitoba.

That’ll NEVER happen, especially when you see these Thunder Twin powers activate!
Shave ice!
I just snorted loud enough to scare the cat. Awesome.

Not just the cat, u freeked me out as well
