Yes, please!
I think that’s Rasputin up there.
He knows he’s hot.
Farmer Stan tugs off his shirt in one heroic swipe as he chisels the finishing touches into his latest straw sculpture of the human butt…
that looks like moses from the sistine chapel pictures… does it not?
Moses could bust a move.
Orthodox monks gone wild!
Is this the guy that was videotaped doing some wiggy dancing at a parade?
HAAAAYYYY!!!
Yeah…sorry, That’s all I got.
whip it good
Hay sculpting beats a poetry reading any day of the week!
hold on to your boot straps cuz daddy’s got a sweet tooth tonight!!!!
nothing is funnier than the “axe tan” caption. brilliant!
Slaying the Snuffleupagus…..
How is he standing on a pile of hay? It has no support at all, he should fall right through that stuff.
it has a support – I believe it is called rickstand. See he`s holding on to it with his right hand
CUT EM OUT! RIDE EM IN! RIDE EM IN! CUT EM OUT! CUT EM OUT! RIDE EM IIIIIIN RAWHAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!
foreigners are funny
Anyone notice how surprised/frightened/confused the woman in the orange looks? Love it!
Tame that wild muslix!
This is one of my favorite photos EVER. I’d love to hear the story (if there is one) behind it.
it occurs to me that they believe they’ve slaughtered a mammoth…
or maybe it’s “HEY!!!” season.
the axe tan is on his belly!! LOVE IT.
Brilliant! The caption for this made me lol big time.
How do you get a farmer’s axe tan anyways?
whos said it had to be farmer ive got a lumberjack ax tan
Latvian hay monsters in UFO crop circles don’t scare me…much
That hay stack looks like something out of a Tim Burton movie.
First prize for weirdness.
When hay balers go wild!
That’s not Lativa. I’d recognize that hay anywhere. That hay is indigenous to Albania. That, my friends, is Albanian hay.
of course it is Latvia! obviously you can not recognize Latvian hay..
You can tell by looking at the pixels.
Looks like the Latvian version of balloon animals.
Latvian Gothic.
How is this even possible???????
Baltic Hoedown.
His enthusiasm is outstanding. Would love to know the story behind the axe-tan.
What’s an axe tan? Yo no get it.
guy`s name is Leonchiks (real name is Alexander, but he prefers calling himself Leon, and in Latvian a sort of diminutive and a pet name of Leon is Leonchiks). he is a photographer, very talented artist, and likes to do crazy stuff sometimes – just for fun and the awkwardness of a moment. he is a close family friend and visits our country house from time to time. the story behind the axe tan is one of his crazy ideas.
he got drunk in the midday, took a nap in the sun, of course, forgot to put his shirt on, accidentally an axe was lying somewhere beside him, he saw it and though – wow, what a great idea – to have a chopper on my belly!
Where the Compound Bow be at?
what is he holding??
I was wondering the same thing – it appears he’s swinging an article of clothing – perhaps his shirt or a jacket?
I too was curious about that! WEIRD!!!
it also looks like a newspaper and hes dancing while the two females work hes summoning the latvian gods to set blaze to his straw hill
Kevin Baconovich stars in Russia’s version of “Footloose”
I love it!
The Wicker Man’s little seen pet……..Wicker Maltese…….
too funny
You beat me to it!
Due to the poor housing market realtors are now required to take drastic measures at home showings.
Im a realtor…and yes, I agree.
Mechanical bull riding – Latvian style!
Ride ‘im coyboy!
Time to insert the “Compound bow” joke.
THANK YOU!!! I WAS WAITING FOR THAT!!!
Organic Chippensdale
this awkward photo just looks like a canvas.
I love the way this guy is the toughest shxx alive. With ginormous beard….
this guy was one of the origanal cast members for 300 but he was to manly and his beard to big “THIS IS MY STRAW HILL”
hmmm…looks like the start of a Snuffleupagus hay sculpture to me.
I stand corrected. Thanks for the clarification.
And if you’re going to make a sculpture of Snuffeupagus, hay would be the best medium!
it DOES look like Snuffleupagus!!!!!
I thought it was Snuffleupagus, in some sort of sacrificial ritual. The woman in the stripes is realizing she’s next and the other one is realizing what’s on the menu. uh-oh spaghetti-o
YeHaaarrr!
Guy’s having a little too much fun there
When good hay beasts go wrong…with decorative humans.
Niiiiiiice.
Kronvald is showing off after finally finishing his sculpted hay bale.
Kronvald! That’s hilarious! Good one, El Kev!
