LOL! OMG, is that a cape?
It’s a long sweater that was kind of popular during that time.
No, it’s a duster. They were pretty popular several years ago. It’s kind of like a sweater/jacket but more completely for fashion versus utility.
A duster? When exactly were they fashionable? I must’ve missed that trend busy picking out my leg warmers and banana clips and all.
Clearly she’s the twin sister and Mom wanted a pic of his special night with twin as well. Definitely awkward.
I think that it is one of those Hogwarts capes from Harry Potter.

I went to school with them. They are conjoined twins. They have recently been seperated.

I usually don’t jump on the photoshop bandwagon… but, I wonder if this is photoshop?? She doesn’t look like she was originally in the pic. Otherwise, she wasn’t actually there and her image showed up in the developed print……..

Capes and cloaks do not have sleeves, people. Lordy. Either way, her outfit looks like something you’d wear to church or a family event. I’m guessing she’s either a chaperon or a poorly conceived idea from the parental units due to pity.

Okay, I hate to be all nerdy, but conjoined twins are always the same sex and they are genetically identical. The girl on the left does look like she could be the guy’s sister though.

Actually, since conjoined twins come from one egg, the twins must be the same sex. Male/Female twins are always fraternal twins where two eggs are fertilized.

Definite photoshop. Look at the ’sister’s’ right hand. Now look at his right hand……I think the sister’s name is Marney, and she couldn’t take that the pic was off-center, so she just ‘fixed it up’.
