What the heck was that bride thinking?!?
‘And you can have it hemmed and wear it again’ how many time have we heard this?
OK, I just don’t get the birdcage theme.
LOL! the two in the back look like they are holding him in place!! ‘you aint goin nowhere!’
reminds me of my friends wedding. I was the maid of honor and she had 7 girls in her bridal party. 2 maids of honor, 4 bridesmaids and one junior brides maid. she also had 3 flower girls and 2 ring bearers and her dogs! the sad thing was there was only 3 on the grooms side.
Do you think the bride took the picture?
What the hell am I looking at?
Hmmm
I think they’re all bridesmaids. I bet there’s another pic somewhere with the bride posing with all of the groomsmen.
groomsmen with birds pinned to their lapels…
Were they all Marines? I’d pose with them too…
I get the missing wife but what about the two hands on his shoulders. That and the smile brings a new twist to don’t ask don’t tell.
I have been at weddings where the photog takes one of the groomsmen with the bride and one of the bridesmaids with the groom. don’t know why. But that could be the origin of this pic.
Our little marine looks like the cat that ate the canary.
Seriously, I would be so mad if I had to carry a damn cage around all day…
I can hear the florist now: “Later, they become centerpieces at the reception!”
its denzel!!!
Think I figured it out. The bride is the lady behind the gentleman, to his left. She has her hands on his shoulders. It is definitely a wedding, and not a cotillion (note the background decor).
I don’t think so. I think those are the hands of the two women behind him. And in a wedding like this, you can bet the bride wouldn ‘t “match” her bridesmaids. I’m sure her dress is much different.
which one’s the bride??
Do all the girls wear matching hats and dresses at cotillions, though? I know the gowns are traditionally white, but I’ve never seen one where they all have to be exactly the same.
where’s the bride??????
I think you’re right. I’m pretty confident that this is not a wedding, but a cotillion or debutante ball. In the south young ladies are introduced into society at these balls, which are sponsored by some organization. They wear all white and there are ushers, flower girls, and pages. Some of these people might be related. The marine is just someone’s escort.
Isn’t this a cotillion? It’s a cultural thing.
Maybe they decided to put branches on the little girls’ head to attract the birds?
This looks like a very “young” wedding. All the adults (?) look fresh out of high school.
)
How sweet! Young love.
7 Brides For 1 Fine Brother…opening this weekend on Broadway!
As for the flower girls…they simply carried the bird theme through by putting those nests on their sweet little heads!
I guess the bachelor got to pick more than one this episode, aye?
Oh Man! LOL Did they have to dance with those cages?!!!
The bride obviously realized what a train wreck she caused and conveniently ducked out of this shot.
La Cage Aux Faux Flowers.
LOL!
This week, on Bridezillas…
Is it my imagination, or does he have ridiculously long arms?
It’s an optical illusion because of how high the belt is. He’s wearing it properly enough, it’s just how the uniform is designed. If you’re curious as to what the entire uniform looks like, look up pictures of “marine dress blue” for examples.
I wonder which one is the bride xD
this is super-cute
I agree, April. I cannot be snarky when viewing so many cute, happy people at a wedding. I love this picture and think all the girls are lovely and the groom….def hawt.
I love that the only person with enough sense to be embarassed about appearing in this photo is its youngest participant…
The chick on the left will drop her cage first…She looks so tired…
The bride was absent and had her little sister fill in for her for the wedding.
For Pitysake! What are those things above the little flowergirls head????? Looks like a swarm of white Locust are attacking her! heheh
Oh my gosh, cracking me up… i look at these pics once then i am laughing so hard i never see them again because my eyes are watering and my eyes are squinched so much… this site is hilarious!!
New reality show “Who wants to marry a Marine!”
there may have been a lottery and the one who caught the pearls got to be the bride???
He’s marrying all of them!
Marines get all the ladies. Semper fi! This is a really cute pic.
He’s really cute.
Oh yeah…he looks trapped all right!
the one that looks trapped is the little flower girl the guy’s holding down for the picture
there is no escape…..
Is the bride taking the picture? Where did she go?
LURRRRRRVVE the hats!
Are these ladies all related to him somehow? His sisters? Cousins and sisters? Is there a bride in all this LOL?
If I was marrying a hot military man like that, I wouldn’t care what my bridesmaids paraded down the aisle. That dude is super fine!
So true! It took me a minute to figure out what the joke was b/c I was so distracted by the good-looking groom.
I am a straight male, and that dude is crazy good-looking.
finally a straight guy who acknowledges the fact that he can actually tell if another guy is good-looking or not!
like Denzel’s little brother, maybe?
Which one’s the bride? Or is she stuffed into a life-sized birdcage somewhere out of the viewfinder?
ROFLM*O! I was wondering the same thing!
I ws thinking maybe all these women were his sisters………..but nice mini bird baths on their heads to match the cages…….very matchy- matchy
7 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor. Looks like SOMEBODY didn’t want to make her sisters/future-sisters-in-law/friends/next-door-neighbors angry !
yeaahhhh i know that feeling
They were trying to do “7 Brides for 7 Brothers,” but somebody did the math wrong.
maybe it was supposed to be “7 birds for 7 brothers.”
STOP!!! I can’t stop laughing.
Still laughing too
The bridesmaid with the bit of veil on her hat and necklace could be the maid/matron of honor. The veil and necklace distinguish her since it appears everything else matches.
