Plaid is in this Christmas season!

    That and grinchy faces!

  3. iLOLd says:

Uhhh…ummm….uhhh…what is that red glowing thing between his knees?

    Is it New Year’s?

    XD

  4. CarpoolMom says:

Paul Bunyan and his siblings… whooda thunk?

  5. Jill says:

Bo, Luke, and Daisy Duke…the early years.

    Are their shirts moving?

  7. Natashia says:

    I’ll have a plaid Christmas without you…

  8. Kathy says:

Good think the girl’s shirt has lace. Much more feminine that way.

  9. Zen says:

they are the young versions of the old Brawny man (blond hair) and the new Brawny man (dark hair)!

  10. Miss Jane says:

Hahahahaha, you wrong. But yet, so right.

  11. Mark says:

We’re lumberjacks and celebrating Christmas is okay!

  12. Mark says:

It was a rough season as 5 brothers and 6 brides didn’t make it.

  13. MyMorningJoe says:

wow those are some tall dudes

  14. Fleabitten says:

    Plaid is so rad!

  15. ballfour says:

No problem putting the star on top of the tree for this family. By the way, where in the world did mom find a pair of 28/42 Levi’s for the oldest kid?

  16. doggiekittymama says:

Love the sneakers on the guy on the left-they were called Bobos in Philly back in the 70’s.

  17. Amice says:

Good luck, future dater of little blond sister. I’ve got a bad feeling about you.

  18. Whoa says:

It was him, officer! The dark-haired lumberjack on the left. HE cut down my pine tree! And his blue ox left a nasty present on my front lawn!

  19. Cam's Cousin John says:

Hey – that girl’s my cousin! I know somebody famous! Philip, somebody’s got a bad feeling about you. Little did they know how right they were!

  20. Denise says:

Who even needs presents when your parents already let you have those killer feathered bangs? Seriously though, these look like sweet kids.

  21. Bad Feeling 'Bout Me says:

I dated that girl and even married her! Luckily her brothers never beat me up, but the older one (blond one) crushed me in arm wrestling. Speaking of awkward. I wonder if he was wearing plaid then…

    • carol says:

I don’t care what anyone says, flannel shirts never go out of style on guys.

      • Shonda says:

My father loved regular plaid shirts–no flannel. His idea of “going formal” was to put on two shirts that were pretty close in color. I was never embarrassed by his “formal” look, but it sure got us noticed.

    • Amice says:

Well, I guess my intuition doesn’t always pan out! Good on ya! Didn’t they at least give you threatening, leering looks when you picked her up for your first date?

  22. Skipping Lunch says:

Actually, it’s not anywhere close to Christmas — it’s October 15th and mom wanted to get a jump ahead of the rest of the family on the 1st Christmas card in the mail!

  23. john in co says:

The lost episode of Return to Walton Mountain?

  24. Terry says:

Funny, I always remembered the Duke boys being a happier lot. Also, Daisy was closer in age to Bo and Luke.

  25. dooger says:

Wow, this MUST be 1980! Can anyone imagine teenage guys today dressing like these two? All tucked and belted? I can’t…..

  26. carol says:

    The girl is adorable!

  27. Ken says:

Looks like the “Brawny” paper towel guy’s family. Should someone be holding the paper towels?

  28. Blair says:

Marshall, Will and Holly on a routine expedition.

  29. HeatherW says:

Ah, back when gingham was all the rage….

  30. Grace says:

Oh my gosh!! That’s HYSTERICAL!!! I had a shirt just like that!!! Mine was blue, but it had lace on it just like that!!

  31. El Kev says:

I’ve seen people compare this to the Brady Bunch, or the Brawny guy. I respectfully disagree, and say that this is The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew.

  32. ErpInBurp says:

I really appreciate Big Blond Guy’s using his right hand to focus my attention appropriately.

  33. Bonnie says:

I guess they found out they weren’t getting anything for Christmas….. and after all that work getting the tree up.

  34. Gabby says:

AAAAhhhhhhhh!!!! I’ve gone partially blind from all of those clashing plaids!!
Too many stripes in too many different directions, too many colors . . . .
Is that blonde guy’s hair just about touching the ceiling?? Gotta love tall dudes!!

  35. Leah says:

If you cut the length off the girl’s hair it looks just like Donald Trump’s do.

  36. LemurQueen says:

I luv the way it looks like the guy on the right has an ornament hangin’ in between his legs…I wonder – is that supposed to be a subliminal hint? LOL Great Pic!

  37. Shanelle says:

I totally had that same shirt when I was younger. :P I think I had school pictures in it. Poor girl.

  38. Butterflywings says:

“…now we are tall, and Christmas trees are small….” (Bee Gees song ‘First Of May’)

  39. Scrobble says:

They look just like a family of festive meerkats!

  40. Evansmommy says:

Does anyone notice that the little girl looks like Donald Trump?

  41. Steve says:

“Why does everyone keep buying us paper towels for Christmas?”

  42. Bob says:

whooo, its true donold trump was a little girl.

  43. Lindsay says:

Because the ruffle on the plaid shirt made her look more feminine…

  44. kathleen says:

“Hi I’m Larry (short for Lauretta) and this is my brother Daryl and this is my other brother Daryl.”

  45. MDG says:

They’re modeling the shirts their Grandma made them for Christmas. I think they’re also wearing the wool underwear she knitted…
