Did anybody else notice that the girl in the middle is engaged? They grow up so fast….
Today, in journalism, my friend and I were exploring AFP (Instead of writing our articles) and we ran across this beautiful picture. The little boy looks like a spitting image of our journalism teacher. We copy and pasted it to paint, drew a red circle around the child with an arrow pointing a text box saying “Coach Thomas, age 4″ and printed it out and showed the class.
Pretty much the most epic class period EVER.
Thank you, awkward family. You completed our lives.
Advert for new film ‘The Sound of Exorcist Music’, perhaps?
The little boy looks like a young Hannibal Lechter.
They are all waiting on night fall to extract revenge on father…….
Someone goofed giving this the “70′s” tag … it has to be the 60s .. probably early-mid 60s is my guess. …they certainly did have their hair all sorted out back then.
“Which Von Trap has the Toni?”
I remember reading ‘go Ask Alice’ set in the late 60s in which the teen girl fought her mom not to have a flip. Now I see why.
man! i WISH my family was as well-dressed as this.
It’s the Stepford Kids!!
Oops, didn’t see the title
Terrifying!!!
The Von Trapp’s evil cousins
Although his sisters gained modest recognition working as USO entertainers in the Korean War, Gene would eventually go on to real fame working as flight director for NASA..
The outfits are pure early 60′s..i know I had a teased bouffant hairdo like this. When I saw the poor boy’s “crew cut” and the dads white shirt and skinny black tie all I could think of was, “Houston, we have a problem.”
What a mess o teeth….it’s the anti-Osmonds!
OMG! This is so 50s looking!
Are these the neighbors of the Cleavers?
…Myes…Beavers with cleavers, possibly!
OMG! It’s Hayley Mills in triplicate!
The girl on the left looks a bit like Drew Barrymore…
I hated it when my mother tried to fix my hair like this for Picture Day!
That looks like Glen Beck age 6.
After three Brides of Dracula, they had a Frankenstein.
AH! I actually recoiled from this one D:
Good god, the three sisters look like the bloody stepford wives
OMG ! The Shadows on the wall are amazing
HAIR! HAIR! omg HAIR!
Somebody *please* tell me this pic’s from the 50s or 60s and not a recent photo made to look like it’s that old.
OMG that is creepy on so many levels!
Adorable!
HOW DID MY FAMILY PHOTO GET HERE!?!?!…………..
Aaaugh! My mom was always trying to make my hair look like that! And I wanted hair like Cher’s. Neither of us succeeded!
Poor little boy!!!
OMG! So totally 60′s! I remember these types of photos from my own childhood and can’t imagine sharing them with others; how embarrassing!! LOL
My mom and grandma had my hair done like that too, with matching bows on the side, LOL
oh my gosh, I remember that hairstyle, my Mom would do that same thing to my hair in elementary school…
I wonder if the perfectionist mom had a fit when she noticed the evil middle child’s fingers were bent and not perfectly matching the other girls. This photo scares me and makes me laugh at the same time…..I can only imagine that family at home
The evil middle child actually had her fingers cut off!
through gritted teeth mom says…right over left, girls, right over left! hopefully they stopped after they got THE BOY.
I’m wondering if they are haunting that hotel in the movie The Shining!
I know – forever and ever and ever and ever….
Im sorry but, BAH HAA HAA HAAAH HAAA!!!!! okay Im not sorry.
the girls all look the same even the mom
I can’t stop laughing at this picture! I’m not even sure why, it’s just so funny!
The dad looks like he can’t wait to get the hell out of there
can you blame him?
Dad looks like a player.
The little girl in the middle looks like Juliet Lewis and the outfits make me think they may have been going to audition for the VonTrap children.
WHOA! This was years before they appeared on Petticoat Junction and the one sister dyed her hair dark brown. (Is it me or do they look like little wigs?)
Yes, they look like wigs to you.
…hehe, to me too.
Oh my gosh, Cassie C, you’re right; that guy looks just like Jay Thomas. I had to go back and look though, I was too busy focusing on The Evil Seed in the middle.
Ok, it took me pretty much the entire day to figure this one out, but that dad reminds me of Jay Thomas; he was on Murphy Brown, Cheers, Letterman once in a while, now on the radio. Maybe it’s just the smile, but dang that was bugging me! He looked like someone I had seen on TV…
I think this is a great photo!
this thing is right they r really well behaved
the girl in the middle, i think she’s looking right through the photographer’s head at the pendulum axe about to swing from the ceiling
Oh lord, me too..LOL !
It’s such a shame that teased hair on little girls went out of style…
Shame!? Thank the good Lord!!!!!
Nothibg says ‘Rules’ more than a flat top
Hey look it is Gilly.
good one!
The middle child looks like she’s thinking “Tonight, they won’t know what hit em’….”
OMG! That’s exactly what I thought when I seen that evil grin…
But did you also notice that HER right hand is almost in a fist, while the other two sisters have their right hands open??
Ahhhh…. another indication of the evil to come…. eeeek.
Yes! And they’d deserve it for giving those girls “Mom” hair.
It’s all the Mom’s doing – she gave them the identical outfits and haircuts. And forced them to sit in identical modest poses. They are actually pretty kids – it’s the styling monster that has done this to them. But middle sister will show Mom what scissors are really for.
OMG. I posted this on Facebook and said the same thing about the kid in the middle. She kind of freaked me out. I think she is hiding something in her hand . . . “Yes, tonight they will all get what they deserve.”
Wow, you read my mind on that one… The family pet not in photo due to some unpleasantness….
Reminds me of the Saturday Night Live Spoof of the Lawrence Welk Show
I had the same thought…”My name’s Janeece!”…do do do doooo.
and mee with the by myyy seeeeellllllff!
