  1. Mary says:

I think the girl in back has ballet shoes on, too. Isn’t that her foot next to frat-guy? And is that HIS stuffed animal collection?

BTW, someone is about to bolt – there’s a suitcase ready to go in front of Mom…

  2. Lola says:

What’s mom’s talent? Producing talented kids?

  3. Bet says:

I want to know what’s in the satchel. Is someone also a talented Avon salesperson?

  4. Hols says:

What is with the teddy bears sitting on the bench? What is their talent?

  5. Perelandra says:

At least they let him be in the picture!

  6. Jsuzio says:

The mom’s talent must be to have children

  7. bradtke says:

  8. Lynda Kaye says:

I personally love the horn playing ballerina . . .

  9. Scott murphy says:

    Anyone wanna hear some Zeppelin?

    • ctrk says:

I’m embarrassed to say that, even though I’m a Zeppelin fan, I don’t get this reference. I’m feeling very awkward, in fact. :- (

  10. Jan says:

Looks like the mom has leavin’ on her mind considering that suitcase she’s packed. I’m also concerned about the mysterious black & white ballerina foot next to fraternity guy. Maybe that is somehow related to his secret talent.

  11. melissa a says:

i’m glad the teddy bear made it into the family portrait

  12. Carla says:

    what’s dad’s talent?

  13. Claire says:

The frat boy needs a beer mug. It could be a talent.

  14. rwblake says:

What does a suitcase, stuffed animals and a cops helmet have in common?

I thought the animal was a rat. Who knows what the white blob is.

  15. JIll says:

    It looks lke s ferret

  16. Judbran says:

I want to know who belongs to the ballet foot behind fraternity boy.

  17. Tatiana says:

What’s up with the suitcase? Is mom’s talent moving out?

  18. m says:

..and the girl in green apparantly not only plays soccer, but also strangles cats.

  19. m says:

If the theme of the photo was for each person to be “holding their talent”, shouldn’t the frat dude be holding a beer bong?

  20. Tim says:

And the mother’s talent – aside from child bearing – apparently has something to do with what’s in the suitcase at her feet. Maybe she was in that 70′s beauty pageant movie SMILE. Either that or she’s out the door as soon as this photo is taken.

  21. durhay says:

Maybe that guy is an actor and didn’t feel like holding Yorick’s skull.

  22. H says:

What’s the random ballet shoe doing next to loafers boy?

  23. Barbara says:

I think they are trying to show their interests, not necessarily talent.. Mom & Dad have good reason to feel proud of these kids.

  24. Voodoo Chile says:

Mr. Frat is obviously an outsider. Notice how his body is turned away from the rest of them, while everyone else is turned inwards. He’s separating himself from the crowd. He is a loner, a rebel. A rebel who joins fraternities.

  25. Niki says:

I think they are holding cats.

  26. momneedsvacay says:

    What’s Mom’s talent?? oh–making babies…
Maybe over- acheiving lil sis could have shared one of her talents with her frat brother.

  27. utaduta78 says:

they did not have enough room to show his keg stand skills, or maybe he left his hazing paddle at school? who knows. maybe his talent is just being awesome.

  28. Andi from NC says:

I thought the one in the back was holding a ferret…. but I guess a dog makes more sense. I love how frat son is sitting slightly away from the rest and turned just enough to say “don’t lump me in with these people.”

Is that a motorcycle police helmet under dad’s arm?

  29. Susan Stitt says:

Is the Mom holding her car keys?

  30. Jorie says:

What’s with the odd looking teddy bear next to the dancer/trombone player? She has ANOTHER talent? Show off…

  31. Uncuw Biww says:

The kid in the back – it looks like he’s holding a guinea pig or rodent. Either he’s destined to be a scientist, a serial killer, the “Willard” kid, or the host of a public tv kiddie show.

  32. Susan says:

I can’t tell from the picture….what is it that the teddy bears on the bench do? By the awkward position, I’m guessing gymnastics…………………..

  33. Stella says:

I love how the parents are shining with pride.

  34. Jeff says:

This one time, at band camp…….

  35. lirpaya says:

The girl in the back also has a toe shoe on (see bench between teddy bears and the frat boy).

  36. bk says:

Is the suit case the Mom’s talent?

  37. Yam says:

    What’s in the suitcase??

  38. Justme says:

    I don’t see the awkwardness.

  39. Mel says:

Am I correct or is the kid in the back holding the dog also wearing ballet slippers??? Is that a girl or a boy?

  40. Charlie says:

…and the mother’s mysterious talent is in the suitcase at her feet!!! :-D

  41. Amy says:

The girl in the back is holding a dog, or possibly a cat, AND wearing ballet shoes. She has her foot on the bench to the right of the teddy bears. My question is: What is mom’s talent? From what I can see all she does is make talented babies

  42. L. says:

    Goddam Hanson bros.

  43. Amir says:

    that’s a cute looking family.

  44. meve76 says:

Mum’s talent is to pack a suitcase?

  45. h8h8r says:

Where’d the red hair come from…..

  46. js says:

    Ha! I’d hate that!

  47. Ally says:

Can anyone tell what the kid in the back is holding?

  48. sockmonkey says:

Well shoot, the sister in the back is holding a dog! WTH kind of talent is THAT?

  49. Rose says:

I so love that the youngest girl plays trombone AND dances. That is the picture of a future heartbreaker. A girly-girl that hangs out around guys.

    • Jules says:

      I thought the same thing!

      • taylordani11 says:

Doesn’t that make her a ‘tromboner?’ No room for underachievers in that family. I guess Frat Boy’s beer chugging and nerd wedgies may not be the family’s favorite skills from the looks of his body language.

  50. Chickadee says:

Being in a fraternity may not qualify as a talent but pulling off the khakis with loafers sans socks look certainly does. Kudos my friend..kudos.
