Size Doesn’t Matter

One of these things is not like the other! Hmmmm……..
Holy Aqua Net, Batman!
Okay, I looked at that and said “hey, I know those girls!” I think that it is a great picture of very beautiful girls. The hair was great, for the day!
they all hav very pretty hair
I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest the family dog was a poodle.
My mom and aunt both had perms and were called lion and monkey by their brother!
I think the best part about this picture is that I actually know some of the people in this picture. They’re all grown up now, but this is priceless!
Can you imagine how much they spend on Roto Rooter?
Just one match and whooosh!!
Awww I think they look really sweet and pretty and soignée. Is it possible they have naturally curly hair? Mind you I would think it’s pretty; my hair looks like this naturally and I don’t have the option of growing a perm out.
I like the sister with the dyed hair and heavier eye make-up – I think she is going to be trouble in a good way.
Ok. That is just frightening.
The drains in their house were perpetually clogged.
I see the family resemblance.
the hairdresser in me is hoping they were good “tippers” lol
LOL Lori!
this is what happen when you combine spiral roller, hot perm solution, 45min too long and loud poison music in a salon.
= 80′s
Oh, the memories! Back “in the day” when you spent your hard earned 14 bucks on a perm, you wanted it to last a really long time. So, we all got a “tight roll” on pink rods and ended up looking like poodles.
That’s an awesome Family Photo. Brought back some good memories. *giggles*
Some of us have this hair naturally, believe it or not! If I just wash my hair and let it air dry, it looks like the hair on the girl at the center right side in the back. As hard as you worked to get your hair like this back then, I have to work twice as hard everyday to get it NOT to look like this. The cruellest trick is that my hair was nearly straight back in the day when this was popular and has just gotten curly over the past few years! IRISH DANCE MUCH???

I spent SO long perfecting this hair style – LoL! My family used to pick on me & say how ridiculous I’d know I looked.. later in life. At least AFP is here to show me I’m not alone!
hilarious.
love you worsely sisters!
Perms used to be very fashionable and desirable!
I wonder what current hairstyle fad will make us the laughingstock of the future.
I’m thinking maybe HIGHLIGHTS. Yes, in 20 years, we’ll be like, “What were we thinking with the random artificial stripes?! Why was it a good idea to spend so much money on something that was so obviously fake?”
I’m thinking anything that Kate Gosselin has done to her hair….
I completely agree with you both.
This is a great photo! Very charming.
I just love the cheerful look on the little blonde in the right front, despite the lack of teeth – she’s the only one there with a genuine smile.
