Actually, it’s a cute photo!
These ladies have to be among the prettiest I’ve seen on your website, dated hairdos or not! What a great portrait!
SOMEBODY’S parents failed to babyproof the house with electrical socket covers!!!
lol!
That big hair is b*tchin’!
that is one good looking family..of girls
One of these ladies is a recent graduate from Beauty School. The rest are her free models she used for her final tests!
Best. Title. EVER!
Holy crap! This could be my family! Five natural redheads plus one strawberry blond! Good genes in this family!
One of these girls (or Mom) has to be a beautician.
You have to look pretty closely, but Boy George, the family’s teacup poodle, is in this shot too.
Wow… what I wouldn’t have given to have hair like that in the 80s!
Oh I wish I had their cheekbones!
I’ll bet the family dog is a Poodle.
Am I the only one that sees the aquanet, but not the perm?
I knew a whole family that had curly hair just like that. They hated it.
Wowww, I have a pic of myself that looks just like that! ha ha. I have naturally curly hair. Never appreciated it until I got older.
I second that emotion !
No kidding. I tried like crazy for YEARS to get my hair to do this. Super-spiral perms, chemicals galore, all kinds of rollers. Everything fell right out without hours, days, a week, tops. I am now so super-straight I’m finally in fashion, thank god, but I’d have killed at least two people to have this hair back in the day.
Which order of nuns has this hairstyle requirement?
The one that’s in the habit of getting perms!
HAHAHAH
i coughed up a hairball just looking at this pic…
I bet at least 3 of these sister were also cloggers, not clog the drain but the dance know as clogging.
Maybe it’s just naturally curly. Mine is and it will do that on any given day with just a hairdryer.
I remember getting permed — my long hair took FIVE HOURS to complete! Just so I could have a big mane of fuzz
good luck getting mirror time the morning of that photo shoot!!!!!
I’d hate to imagine what it’s like for the guy who has to clean out the shower drain in that family.
A guy who cleans out the shower drain? Where? I didn’t know that was possible.
I love the expression on the face of the sister to the far right. Are there any female game show hosts? She’s got a career.
Their hair is so big that they could hide a weapon in it.
I grew up with these girls! They always had big hair.
Anyone remember Spoolies?
I do! I do! And I grew up in the 50s! HA
I love this photo and am enjoying everyone’s comments, too.
omg I could have been part of the sisterhood too:)
Javier says get back to work
It’s like safety headgear–no man can come too close (she says, having looked exactly the same in her day….)
Now I’m sentimental for my high school years!
Notice near the lower (half) on the right…. the sister with the straight hair was taken out of the photo.
So many chemicals were released when these perms were done that two beaches had to be closed down ALL SUMMER!
This is just a wonderfully cute photo!
I agree! These girls are beautiful!
But yeah, that’s a lot of hair!
They are all beautiful. Not a dud in the bunch…you know how in some families, one or two kids get all the good genes and there’s a random homely kid…kind of like if Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal were sisters.
That’s alotta hair!!!
Daddy’s a plumber and mom’s a hairdresser, otherwise the perms and clogged drains alone would bankrupt that family!
Too funny! I laughed so hard at your comment, I almost choked!
The poor little non-blonde girl in the front (I THINK it’s a girl), her perm didn’t “take” as well as the others. Perhaps the stylist was tired.
There seems to be a “blonde” sheep in this family. . .
One of these things is not like the other…. one of these things just doesn’t belong…
i wonder if they get a discount on all those perms?
Bet the blonde little sister is hated by the rest of them, she probably gets all the special treatment from the parents.
The one on the left wins in the combined category of “height and width” and receives bonus points for actually getting the hair out past the shoulder. I agree on the jealousy thing…back in the day.
It’s so funny how all of their hair is the exact same shade…except of course for the little rebel in the corner.
Probably because they’re all naturally curly redheads! The little blonde girl’s hair will turn as she ages.
Ripley, Newt, Wynona, and some other friends from the upcoming Aliens 3: White Rain
Who knew Quakers used so much Aquanet?
The hole in the ozone layer brought to you by…. them!
Sisterly love is permanent.
Gotta love the 80s. The Gunny Sack dresses are a very nice addition to the volume of hair.
I think I would have been jealous of some of these girls “hair height”.
I’m gonna say that’s early (possibly even mid) 90′s.
How much Aquanet was involved in this photo?
Global warming made a reality by one family! Thanks for your effort and for the rise in aquanet stock!
How much Aquanet do you think they went through in a month??
They own stock in the company…
Man, I definitely should have been adopted by this family — they stole MY hair !
