Where’s the angel on her other shoulder?

  2. kariboberry says:

OMG…..I had a picture of myself wearing a sea foam green leotard exactly like this. My sister would blackmail me with it until I finally found and destroyed it.

  3. Stankbush Johnson says:

Rocking the femullet in true old school fashion!!!

  4. Fanboy Wife says:

    Man, this is creepy!

  5. Jeff says:

I don’t think the usual “‘SHOPPED!!!” claim would raise any argument here. But they missed a golden opportunity by not having the kid stand on her own shoulder.

  6. thx1138 says:

It’s the girl from the Art of Noise, Close to the Edit video. [obscure reference]

  7. MRH says:

Takes the arm shelf to a whole new level.

  8. Lynn says:

Looks like a young Elijah Wood.

  9. binkymae says:

“Let me just smooth out your hair a bit before they take the picture.”

  10. chris says:

I guess the lil’ devil really does sit on the left shoulder.

  11. G says:

    Oh, that poor child.

  12. powermuffin says:

Wow, you know you’re beautiful when you are sporting a mullet and still look adorable. This little girl grew up to be a really good looking woman, that’s for sure.

  13. Anne says:

I’ll bet she can do a real mean “jazz hands.”

  14. Marty says:

Has anyone seen the Twilight Zone?? The doll that threatened Telly Savalas? That’s what this reminds me of….creepy

  15. Matthew says:

She’s gonna live forever, she’s gonna learn how to fly (High!).

  16. taino sam says:

she reminds me of V.I.C.K.I. from “Small Wonder”.

  17. Goldie says:

This little girl sort of looks like what I imagine Kate Hudson looked like as a child.

  19. AnnLaurelB says:

The Pull-Up is a nice touch.

  20. The Hermit says:

Have you seen Kyle? He’s this tall!

  21. The Curious Onlooker says:

I believe she is looking for Kyle and ironically enough is the same height as he is.

  22. Ginny says:

Could this be Marnie in her young days. The ballet teacher may have given a store brought salad.

  23. Monika says:

I think every portrait should have a little pixie version of the person petting their own giant head. Class.

    • Tim says:

Snort! Thanks for making me laugh out loud. I wish all my pictures came with a little pixie version of me, like my driver’s license photo.

  24. Alan says:

“Mommy,I can still hear that little voice telling me to set fire to stuff”

  25. Nomad says:

I can hear Mini-Me explaining the situation…”business in the front – party in the back…oh yeah!”

  26. hillary says:

    unitard for the win.

  27. glasstabletop says:

I thought I was looking at myself when I opened this. I have a picture similar to this except I was sporting the “Dorothy” haircut.

  28. Dum Dum says:

We all need to have our own Great Gazoo to keep us in line.

  29. Peachy says:

I think she’s so cute; nothing awkward or sinister about this. Mary, I don’t think so.

  30. arbund says:

    aaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha- too much funny!
    God I love this site!
    Keep em’ coming.

  31. Dorie says:

    Paul, you are kidding right?

  32. E says:

I TOTALLY remember these pictures. Face in the front, action in the back. Man, we did strange things in the 80s.

  33. Paul Metzger says:

Oh, oops, it is a mullet. It just looked as though it wasn’t. My bad.

  34. Paul Metzger says:

Well, it’s not so much a mullet as it is a bi-level. It’s only cut on the one side.

  35. Mae says:

Elton John’s song Tiny Dancer comes to mind.

  36. Mary says:

This will truly give me nightmares… The expression on the mini-face is creepy!

  37. Lissa says:

A toddler mullet! Almost as good as a baby mullet.

  38. LuLu says:

Wow…that is very disturbing for some reason.

  39. lala2 says:

hahaha… sooooooo cute little girl – REALLY BAD hair! ahhhhhh

  40. Paul Metzger says:

I don’t think this is awkward. The haircut isn’t weird for a teenager, but for a girl this age, it is.

    • Penny says:

Sorry, that haircut is weird/awkward for anyone. And the mini-me hovering about her head…yup, awkward.

    • missliss says:

Not weird for a teenager? How is a mullet not weird?

      • Rory says:

Mullets are actually coming back into style. A classmate of mine sported one our senior year up til just after graduation (cut it for the military in ’03), and my son (age 3) has one now & won’t let anyone cut it. Of course there still is the good mullet vs. the bad mullet. This one is borderline, I’d say.

        • Ben says:

…cricket cricket…I fear all you have proven is that the two mentioned parties also sport an awkward hair style…I assure you, from the bottom of my heart, the mullet is not coming back into style, it wasn’t prior to ’03 (seven years ago) and it isn’t now…

        • Erin says:

Rory… seriously, they are NOT coming back! Nor will they ever!!

          • cass says:

What do you mean, not coming back? I live in the South and I can assure you that the mullet never went out of style. It amazes me that in spite of all the bad press, the mullet still endures.

        • Tori says:

Honey, I live in the very deep south and I assure you. Mullets are NOT in style again. Just because they endure does not mean they’re fashionable. It’s like saying track suits are stylish because all of the guido’s still where them.
And FTR this is a VERY awkward photo for so many reasons. Not the least of which is that bowl mullet. But, what I really want to know is WHAT is up with the leotard?!

        • Rory #2 says:

          Good vs. Bad?
I’d love to see a side-by-side comparison, because I have NEVER seen a good mullet in my life!

      • Kelsey says:

I think this website has been numbing his awkward sensors.

  41. Carrie says:

    hold me closer tiny daaa-aaancerrrrr
