What? ?? I thought those guys dropped off the radar by 1994 (that was when everyone was somehow convinced those Home Improvement kids were freakout cute) I wouldn’t want to think about any other vocal pop artists doing a cruise now…maybe I’ve never liked popular because it gets overly popular.
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO JEALOUS of ALL of you that got to go on a NKOTB cruise!!!! I was desperately in love with them <3 STILL LOVE The New Kids on the Block

I too was on this cruise… My picture is me sitting on Joe’s lap, he’s pointing and we both have our mouths open but I distinctly remember that neither if us are actually saying anything… Also, Donnie didn’t finish his sandwich so I took it. And wrapped it in plastic. Took it home. Kept it in my parents freezer. I think it is still there…
OMG! I was on this cruise and my photo with NKOTB includes Donnie’s plate of food. Fond memories of that once in a lifetime opportunity to Hang Tough with the New Kids when I was a kid!
I am jealous. I would have paid to have a picture like this.
Joey doesn’t seem to be ‘in the moment’ too much here…maybe there are more chicken sandwiches off to the right.

I would have sold my mother to have been on this cruise. I am a nearly thirty year old woman, am married with a child, and I still cried like a baby when I found out Joey got married.
It took me a few seconds till I realized it was them. Then I started screaming, It’s Joey!

OMG THE GEL! THE FRICKING LOADS AND GLOPS OF HAIR GEL THAT MUST BE HOLDING ALL THEIR HAIR ALOFT!
… at least, if they fall overboard, the gel will quickly render the water a gelatinous goo that will hold them afloat and bouyant (or “boy”-ant) until the rescue crews can get to them. What? the rescue crews don’t care? hmmmmm…

Donnie had to be the muscle one because he didn’t have the face, voice, or “bad boy” image. In the Step by Step video he’s lifting weights to show off his “strength” in the group.
Actually,Danny is the one lifting weights in the Step by Step video. Before you try to ridicule them,get your facts straight.

I’m going on 30 years old and my little 9 year old self just jumped up and down about a billion times inside me while going OMG OMG! So SO jealous of that little girl. I think it’s time to dig out those dusty tapes and relive some preteen memories.

So….I don’t get it. Is this a promotional shot? Why this particular pose, if so? “Famous boy band is on our cruise…..and will force feed your children when they don’t want to eat”?
I think the thing was maybe Donnie was eating between pictures, and just offered the little girl some. This is kind of off center, so it was probably one of the parents who snapped this shot (as opposed to the prof. photographer.)
Well frankly this picture is all sorts of magic! I think they should recreate a modern day version of this. I’m sure everyone has the time on their hands to do it. Yes, even you, Donnie Big-shot Whalberg!
How much did they have to pay NKOTB to be on this cruise in their prime? Pretty impressive. And how much would they pay them today? Probably the price of Donnie’s hamburger…
NKOTB has done 2 cruises, 2009 and 2010, and set records in how quickly they sold out. They have already announced a 2011 cruise also, and it’s looking to sell out just as fast. Just FYI.

I’ve met many celebrities over the course of my lifetime (the last one was Ben Stein at LAX) and not one of them has force-fed me for a photo op. I feel so left out.
