You Little Devil
August 27th, 2010
AFP would like to dedicate this one to our friends Andrew Gurland and Huck Botko, writers of the Last Exorcism (opening today) because let’s face it, there is nothing more awkward than an exorcism.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA This made me laugh so hard. Like literally out loud.
She is two years old and she already needs a therapist…and a priest.
Awesome.
This is the granddaughter Marnie never talks about.
Bad choice for a little ‘light reading’ before bedtime …
I haven’t slept in two weeks mom, TWO F’IN WEEKS !!!!!
I’m this little girl’s mom . . . when she was 2, she had a habit of grabbing my mom’s paperbacks and pretending to read them. My mom lucked out with this shot, as my daughter’s choice of book was totally random, but obviously, apropos.
This little girl is so cute! I love this picture!
awesome girl ^_^
OK, that’s it….I am now going to church!
Little Suzie puts her “Hooked On Phonics into practice with her 1st lil bookie…how cute !!!
wrong…so wrong
YOUR BABY CAN READ!!!!
Any other book and this would not have been funny.
The girl is so lovely.I want to kiss her.
you’re getting creeeeeepy……..I mean sleeeeeepy
awesome !!! those little pink toenails make it even more awesome for me!!
I died a little looking at this photograph.
To get this look, they must’ve given her the book when she was just about to fall asleep! I saw the photo on this site before but didn’t know it had been anywhere else. The girl is adorable!
If she doesn’t come up with her exorcism payments, she will be repossessed.
ding, ding, ding….for the win !!!
Hmmm, now where did I put my rosary?
Regarding the poster under the picture, I read an article that that awkward pose was not photoshopped or manipulated. The young woman on the poster is able to bend into that awkward position.
that is definitely an all-time classic. and to those who complain that it is cliché, I remember my Shakespeare professor complaining sardonically about all the clichés in Shakespeare’s plays…which, of course, he invented…
Wow….she is already this posessed and she is only on page 1….hold on to your hats everybody, she still has 376 more pages to go !!!
HAHA! That’s hilarious
i have always gotten a kick out of this picture! hahahaha! love it!
Creepy/hilarious. And if it’s been published elsewhere, who cares? I’ve seen it for the first time, thanks to AFP.
This is the first time I’ve seen it too. Funny! Hope she thinks so when she’s older.
Even though the camera caught her mid blinks, this little girl is still adorable!
Audrina Patridge–the early years.
Oh, that’s a good one!
Great photo! And the NY Times gave the flick a good review. Can’t wait to see it. Anything even slightly influenced by the film “Marjoe” is 100% win in my book!
ewww, yuck.
Seriously? Like this photo hasn’t been featured on enough “fail” sites! Surely you can’t be struggling for content that bad??
hey hannah, yes, we know it has been featured all over because it was first posted here and submitted by the family. you can find the original submission in the hall of fame.
best,
afp
How did you know Ms. Crankypant’s name is Hannah…be afraid…they know things!
K. just got owned.
May I ask admin and/or Hannah what other websites?
Ooooops, no…here’s the link
http://awkwardfamilyphotos.com/2010/01/14/bedtime-stories-2/#comments
there was a specific purpose for posting it, did you not read the comment??
K. – show them how its done. Build a website that thousands go to each day. I guess it is easy to complain since you are paying for a subscription for this. Oh wait…its FREE. And like the other poster said – this was a dedication, which, if you are able to read (and not just look at the pictures), infers that the thing has already been posted prior.
Next time I get pea soup all your heads will be spinning.
Check the diaper — you want pea soup, you’ll get pea soup!
