those are the sweetest prettiest babies I have ever seen in my entire LIFE! soooooooooooo cute

  2. Laurie says:

I have to agree that it’s cute and awkward. I can’t imagine getting 6 newborns into a not awkward picture would be all that easy though.

  3. susie says:

The most awkward part is that you are supposed to put babies ON THEIR BACKS to sleep.

  4. Queen of the World says:

Aww, they look like marzipan babies:) Except for Dad – he kind of looks like a big old chunky Buddha!

  5. roxy2233 says:

All I can think about is how they are all diaperless and about to start peeing and pooping on Dad any second now.

  6. Dawn says:

My head just exploded from the cuteness! Not awkward at all, just absolutely precious.

  7. Mom22 says:

I think the only awkward thing might be the mom. She kind of stands out in an odd way. Otherwise, soooo cute!

  8. Pat says:

Gulliver’s Travels! All those sweet babies. I don’t know whether to envy or count my blessings.

  9. Margie says:

I love the baby on his head, such contentment. I wonder how many times he got peed on before they got this shot! I think the picture is adorable.

  10. John Wiley says:

    Awkwardly cute!

  11. Wendy M. says:

SO glad they decided to let Dad keep his jeans…but I have to agree with the adorableness too! And Dad is really not asleep, he just didn’t want anyone to pee in his eyes!

  12. Lynn says:

    This is absolutely precious!!!

  13. Ian says:

That is a great picture. Not awkward. Buty how they got that many newborns to sleep at the same time, that I want to know.

  14. davidme says:

    Awesome pic, NOT awkward!

  15. M says:

And this family will spend the rest of their life taking awkward photos, because I can’t think of any possible way one could get sixtuplets in the same pic without looking awkward.

  16. bob says:

Cute? The cutest. Adorable? Goes without saying. Now, realistically, lets hope this was a nice posed shot of several children from different families with a nice couple for a wonderful photo objet d’Art. The alternative is it’s Octomom’s lil sis, Sixomom and you and I will be paying for this cuteness for the next two decades if not longer.

    • Tishes says:

Octomom is a single mother who already had four children. And why should you have to pay anything for this family? Don’t even say it.

    • francie says:

wow!! um, wow! So, basically what you are saying is that anyone who has multiples is going to be on welfare. It’s not even within the realm of possibility that this family, or anyone who happened to have more than one baby at a time, might have the means to support their own family. I see. BTW, how many at a time is too many? 5? 4? 3? 2? Also, would you think differently if these children had been born a year or more apart?

    • Dawn says:

That’s pretty ignorant, Bob. Octomom had 14 babies and no father for any of them. This COUPLE has 6 babies. And how do you know that they can’t support their own children?

    • D says:

They’re real sextuplets. It’s been circulating on Facebook along with a plea for people of color to help support this family.

Regardless, I think it’s a very cool photo, not at all awkward, and think it’s a miracle they could get all six asleep at the same time, let alone with some smiles. I couldn’t even get my singleton to fall asleep for his newborn photo shoot.

  17. Danna says:

Remember that scene in “Gremlins” when the gremlin with the mohawk, “Spike” I believe, got wet and started to bubble and bud new gremlins????

    Actually this is pretty cute.

  18. Me says:

This is the most adorable picture!

  19. Missy says:

    Six too many.

    • mrs5180 says:

nice….I suppose it’s up to you to decide who can be born

      • Ashley says:

No, I guess it was up to the fertility doctor. Six is too many.

        • mrs5180 says:

well I suppose you guys can sit down with these kids in a few years and inform them that some of them shouldn’t have been allowed to exist.

shame on you guys for posting this kind of stuff under a photo of a family.

        • Kitten K. Boodle says:

Yeah, I don’t know why people suddenly feel like it’s their right to tell other people what they should be doing. Busybodies, I call them.

It’s a personal decision between husband and wife. In the case of pregnancy with multiple babies, the other choice would be to abort some of them to bring the total down to an “acceptable” level.

I can’t understand how someone can look at those happy people and precious babies, and be so Scrooge-like.

  20. Karyn says:

“I told you not to feed him after midnight!”

  21. maryis says:

BTW, this is a family from Ohio. It’s the real deal.

  22. maryis says:

    I love this photo!

  23. just sayin' says:

I love this pic! The babies look like angels and the parents have sweet expressions. Love it!

  24. Epicentre oz says:

We had 3 under 3 (now 5 under 5), and I think attempting a pic like this would have been nigh impossible without the help of Ruhypnol (just jokes people). Fantastic photo though, extremely cute…and so are the babies lol. Anne Geddes eat your heart out.

  25. Michelle says:

What I want to know is how did they get all those babies to sleep at the same time. that’s awesome…i wonder if that trick works at home too! LOL. It’s mildly awkward, but super sweet too.

  26. kat says:

    precious. not awkward. AFP FAIL

  27. Amy says:

    I love this picture!

  28. Jess says:

How did they get all the babies sleeping peacefully at once?? That is impressive!

    • Elizabeth says:

No kidding. I can’t even manage ONE! Though they look quite young. Maybe they are still in that two-month sleepy window?

  29. Sylvatica says:

How did they get all 6 asleep at the same time? Drugs?

  30. carol says:

Oh my goodness, it’s like an explosion!

  31. Cari says:

I love this picture! But really/ Six babies asleep at the same time? It’s a miracle portrait!

  32. AfterDucky says:

also find this more cute than awkward 🙂

  33. Alan says:

And the sign on the photographers studio said “No littering”

  34. Noneya says:

It’s an “aw” moment. Beautiful family.

  35. LN says:

Adorable? Yes! Awkward? Maybe jus that it looks like Dad just doffed his shirt and laid down…I guess I’d like to see a shirt on dad and maybe MOM featured a little more prominently…after all, she did 99% of the work to get to this picture!

  36. JustMe says:

Oh – and by the way Mr Photographer….why in the hell would you put naked babies with brown skin on a brown background?

    • mrs5180 says:

because it works for the idea of the photo—when subjects stand out too much from the background in a shot where the photographer is trying to invoke closeness, it can dtract from that feeling.
The only change I would have made is to have arranged them so it could be cropped closer, so there isn’t so much empty space above them. The unused space is what’s making the brown look overdone.

  37. JustMe says:

very awkward. But, so sweet! Look at all those beautiful babies!

  38. Liz says:

Cute, and awkward at the same time. It was kind of like I was trying to find all the babies. But snuggly babies are the cutest thing in the world! Mom- go take a nap please.

  39. Sara says:

  40. Rob says:

One thing I find awkward is all the women asking why mom isn’t asleep. It’s a new day, men are primary caretakers too.

    • Susi says:

hello??!! Bob, those are newborns hun…….momma just gave BIRTH to SIX babies!!! Rob…when you can do that, only then….will you understand why momma needs a nap…no matter how much daddy helps.

  41. Ducky says:

The only reason I can think this might be awkward is if those are all the same baby and he (she?) is Photoshopped in there in all those poses. Or some kind of shutter time delay or something. Otherwise if that is all one family with six different newborns it is a lovely picture of an adorable family.

    • just sayin' says:

Since the babies have differing skin tones and amounts of hair, I’d guess it is really six different babies.

      • Binkymae says:

I can’t imagine why they all chose to sleep at the same time with bright lights and cameras around! Baby Benadryl drops in their last bottle?

  42. PJSaintOurs says:

Shouldn’t mom be the one allowed to take a nap with 6 new babies?

  43. Jennifer* says:

Sweetest picture ever! And the baby resting on dad’s head has a smile…probably because he is about to turn on the hose 😉 Gorgeous picture!

  44. Moniquekingston says:

WHY is mom not asleep?!?!? All seven (yes dad counts) down at once! I’d be unconscious in a heartbeat . .LOL! Such a CUTE pic though. I suppose staying awake to enjoy the moment would be nice but sleep is nice to!!!

  45. Annie says:

The mother should be the one sleeping… I’m sure she needs it. I don’t find this awkward at all… but rather charming.

  46. Miss Trish says:

    What a perfect moment!

  47. HennaGal says:

uh no this is very awkward. first reaction was “what the?!” while i do agree that the babies are cute, that the family is cute, i stand by that this is indeed an awkward pic.

  48. Chad says:

Dude, that guy broke out in a hive of babies! No, he’s just bringing sextuplets back!

  49. Mama of 4 says:

This is a bizarre picture, but I love all the babies.

  50. Angie says:

This is the cutest picture ever!
