I did not think you could do that in Kentucky any more.
The lovely young lady wrangling the turkey is my childhood best friend. Trust me, as kids growing up on a farm in Central Texas we had to make our own fun. I think the dog is waiting for scraps.
I’m just showing my beagle how to stuff a turkey.
Thanks to 4H I have several similar photos with my kids and their turkeys almost equally as awkward.
baha! That’s my mom 🙂 Oh the joys of being raised on a farm.
Sadly, little Emma’s family was just too poor to afford a pony.
Looks like she’s having fun riding that turkey!
Ah, the Good Ole Days…when a kid could ride a turkey without fear of legal action by PETA.
I think this pic is great.
Doesn’t everyone have a turkey rodeo on Thanksgiving?
Well if they don’t, they ought to!
Wonder Woman, the early years. All the turkeys at our house were so mean that you never turned your back on them.
After looking again, the dog looks scared. Is he wondering if he will be the next to be conquered?
