She couldn’t understand why Snuffy was always trying to smoke his treats.

wow that is weird and of couse halarious
Ha! My dog does the same thing and it also looks hilariously adorable! He eats these rawhide chews stuffed with liver-paste and they very closely resemble cigars. He gnaws on it for awhile but then likes to walk around with it sticking out the side of his mouth and it looks EXACTLY like he is smoking a cigar!
This picture makes me very happy. I can’t tell if this is a genuine vintage photo or if this fetching young lady is beautifully pulling off a very authentic vintage look!
No, it’s authentic alright. I’m 52 now and I was 8 or 9 in this pic. I thought I was pretty hot. Or, I should say “cool”!
You were a seriously cute little girl, Jackie. And the dog! I don’t remember pugs being very popular before the last 15 years or so. Great photo all around. To me, it’s not awkward at all. If I can’t see awkwardness, does it mean that I am probably awkward??!
You look a lot like Lisa Loeb in this picture.
Would be a lot more awkward if that stogie was lit!
Now that dog is on Nicotine patches. Thanks a lot!
Can’t decide which is cuter…
It doesn’t get any better than this!
clearly a Archie and Edith Bunker
Seriously, this little girl is adorably sweet looking — dimples, big brown eyes, sweet smile. I bet it’s Saturday night and the curlers are in place for church tomorrow morning.
I believe it was school picture day eve, because I remember the result of the hair when the curlers came out. YIKES! Not the best school pic
I can smell the Dippity-Doo! The dog looks like Winston Churchill with his cigar.
I thought I was the BOMB with those glasses! LOL
YES- me too, Mel. Those glasses are magnificent!
I think I used to have those same glasses but never looked so cute and self assured while wearing them.
Can anyone else hear that vinyl chair ‘poofing’ as you sit down or scraping across the linoleum floor?
Oh yeah, the dog is adorable!
Can I just note how awesome her glasses are? Seriously…I am coveting those.
I was thinking the same thing! I remember having a pair of pink ones of my Grandmas when I was little…oh how I miss them
Yepper, my Gram had gold tone ones until probably the early 80′s!
That slumber party is about to get pretty wild. Time to break out the Annie Greensprings!
This would look pretty awkward even without the dog.
totally agree – > move it to AFP
I think this is my favorite comment!!
