Size Doesn’t Matter

he looks like he wanted to be a storm trooper from star wars! lol
maybe he became a barber or haridresser and got her back… lol
Out of curiosity, when a mother maims her boys with a true bowl cut does she try different size bowls out or is it a one-size-fits-all?
I didn’t think this was that awkward until I read the comments. Those are boys????? Oh dear, this is a whole new level of awkwardness.
These guys are cool. I just need a bowl and some clippers.
I think mom had to choose between paying for a professional photo shoot or paying for a professional hair cut. I think we know how that turned out.
Clippers check ,bowl check, ok time for a hair cut.
Interrogation technique, huh? As in, the interrogator has this haircut or the perp is threatened with this haircut? Either way…
This family clearly needs a Flowbee!
YESSSSS!!!!! I found a Flowbee instructional video when I moved into my apt a couple yrs ago! Maybe I could donate it??
I like how the red head has a bit of hair over his shoulder to show how long it is! ARGH Oh yeah and once I cut my sons hair with a bowl. It was 1995!!
HAHAHAHAHAHA OMG I used to have a best friend in 3rd grade that had that hair cut, I called her Chucky xD
As a side project, I photograph mullets in the wild. I so wish I could run into this kid…just once…
That is awesome. “MULLETS IN THE WILD”
I laughed so hard I peed myself.
I have never been so proud to call the ginger in the right, my friend. Made my day.
Note to Mom: take the kids to Cost Cutters
I guess the parents really wanted all girls instead of what they got.
This has to be one of best, but worst photos i’ve ever seen! It is SO hilarious!
Can’t believe one photo has captured two 80-style hair-beauties! Would it be abuse if I cut my future sons hair into an exact replicar of the blondies “Bowlett”?
YES IT WOULD!
When I was 11 my older teen sister cut my long little girl hair into a mullet.
Yeah, she drives a jeep and loves softball.
Not sure what you’re insinuating here!
Though I hate softball. Blech!
I’m a girl and drive a Jeep and I love it.
Clearly mom liked the girl best.
cruel and usual
The more I look at the picture, the more I think it is a photoshop job.
Fail troll.
not at all a troll your post is fail.
Poooooooor…..
Well, with the boy in the middle, you’ve finally posted a photo of pretty much every single kid I knew in southern Indiana in the early-to-mid 1980s. Awkward me back home…
You must have seen me walking around Evansville during that time period.
Include central Indiana as well…
nice hair helmet
He told his parents he definately did not want a mullet like big brother, so they tricked him by giving him the bowl-let. He just doesn’t know he got a mullet too.
My God…my good sweet God. How could this have happened? How In the name of GOD could this have happened?! OK. Lets give the parent(s) a break, who knows what was happening at the time. But please people, in the future..take a good look at your children. Regardless of what THEY want, it is up to YOU to make the right decisions.
I asked my 8yr old son what he wanted for a haircut once, and he replied emphatically: “CIRCLE HAIR.” Circle hair? I asked what he meant by “circle hair.” After much gesturing and 8yr old reasoning, I deciphered what it was he wanted.
A fro. A really BIG fro.
Together, we settled on a fauxhawk.
I don’t think this kid asked to look circumsized up top. I fear it might be pure Flobee inginuity.
And that’s just friggin’ HILARIOUS.
Soooo very funny
My son asked for an Afro too! He has straight blond hair so there is NO WAY that would be possible but his best friend has and Afro and he wanted to look like him. Too cute! I”m glad to know there is another boy out there with the same thinking!
These kids look nothing alike
Cousins maybe?
I kinda like the rebel redhead for not doing the bangs thing….
Gaze upon my forehead and despair!
OMG! I could stare at the blonde kids hair all day! Its MESMERIZING!
I agree. It is mesmerizing, but not really in a good way. More in a “WTF??” way.
Mullet boy looks like a bully and bowl boy looks like a brat. Those kinds of haircuts do that kind of thing to a kid.
I disagree. These kids look sweet to me. Obviously it’s an older photo from when mullets were more the thing, and it is definitely awkward, but mom was just probably trying to make the kids happy. Either that or she didn’t have enough money to take them in for a haircut. Haircuts don’t do anything to kids. Geesh.
IF the redhead is the kid I went to school with, he was kind of a jokester type. Definitely not a bully -actually a pretty funny kid.
Then again, it would have been more than 20 years ago so my memory could be foggy.
Oh look, a bullet.
Hah!
Perfect!
What kind of soup came with that haircut?
ZING!!!
sure sucks to be a boy in this family…
talk about helmet head!
I’ve not seen one of those for a long time. Poor wee thing.
I use this as leverage with my kids.
oh wow and I thought my hair was bad…
on the positive side, if he ever needs to employ the insanity defense, claiming perhaps he was abused as a child, this photo will absolutely lock it DOWN.
Haha!!
Business in front & Party in the Back!!
And chip bowl to the side!
Win.
reminds me of that pic of the cat with the cut-out lime-helmet on it’s head
yessss!!!
ABSOLUETLY!
Dont know which is worse…the red mullet or the blond bowl cut.
That’s what I was thinking! When I first read the caption and then looked at the picture I was thinking, “Which one are they talking about?”
The girl definitely wins in this photo.
I was thinking the same thing – which one? And is that a young Daryl Hall in the red mullet?
How can the bowl cut be acknowledged but not the mullet? I say Mocking for all or mocking for none!
My thoughts exactly!
Part mullet, part bowl-cut, ALL bad!!
Is that a young Joe Dirt?
Wow! Nobody wins here in the the hair category.
Wow, a bowl-mullet. It’s like discovering Atlantis.
lol!!!!!!
it’s a bowlett…
which one?
Wow a bowl-mullet. It’s like discovering Atlantis.
The hair on the kid on the right doesn’t even look like it belongs on his head! Should have just kept it long!
Is that a bowl mullet?????
And it’s not even a STRAIGHT bowl cut!
Right! Bet he’ll hold still next time mom gets the salad bowl out. lol
My guess is that it was a tupperware bowl that was in the dishwasher. Someone forgot to turn off the heat-dry feature which allowed this to happen.
my guess is he’ll run and hide under the porch next time mom gets the salad bowl out!!
I noticed that too!
Mom, put down the scissors and step away from the hair.
Good one!
Terrible!!! Poor kid!
Poor girl on the left having to hang out with them.
