I think it looks like a take on the Anne Geddes baby photo’s!
Her smile makes me happy for her! And I wonder if her boyfriend is hiding under the hydrangeas, too. That would explain the smile. Congratulations! And Congratulations!
I don’t see what the problem is….I had the same pose when I graduated from Hydrangea University Online College. She’s going to do quite well with her Doctorate in Floral Arrangement. Every little bit counts in this recession.
While being stuck in the middle of a bunch of hydrangeas is definitley an awkward pose, she looks happy and proud, as well she should. Congrats, Hydrangea Grad!

Really people… you don’t find this awkward? It’s one thing to pose in front of a flower bush, but to hike up one’s graduation gown and climb into the middle of it…

She’s outstanding in her field…of hydrangeas.
Not only is she proud that she graduated, hopefully, college, but she’s proud of her gardening accomplishments as well.
LEAST awkward family photo ever. A little unusual,but not risible like the photos of people staring up dreamily at other photos of themselves…I love those.
