And there’s nothing more impressive than the mop-boa.

Am I the only one who thinks the kid on the left looks like a young Anderson Cooper. Look at pics of Anderson when he was little and I swear that kid is a dead ringer.
They actually look quite dapper, it’s the hair cuts that give the game away.
the little one is a girl!
Of course the little one is a girl….that looks like a boutique purchased sweater with ribbons on the shoulders to me!!!!
the little one, is a baby girl! shes so little and doesnt have a lot of hair
I think the littlest one is a boy, and I’m beginning to agree that the boa thing is a blanket. My son has one of those “no sew” blankets and if he wraps it around him that’s what the ends look like….
Oh, and he has a matching pocket hankie too!
Oh wow, I’ve looked at this pic more than once and I just noticed that the middle child’s suit is double breasted. You can’t get fashionier than that! They are so cute!
I’m laughing so hard i’m tearing! Buahahahahahaha!
This one made me snort milk out my nose. And that still wasn’t as awkward as this pic.
Your comment made me snort milk out my nose> LOL!
It’s a blankie. I remember those from the 1980’s- they were a “no sew” project. I guess if your choice is a smiling kid with a hideous blankie, or a crying one without, you just let him have the blankie.
I like how the kid on the left is kind of crossing his fingers. Maybe he thought he could wish himself out of this photo.
noticed the exact same thing. Crossing his fingers at his future. WOnder what he thinks now when watching the cute pic. i am sure he is the cuttest of the bunch!
Okay … I’ll agree with the rest of you because I don’t like to rock the boat … but I thought the little one was a girl.
We’ve got the haircut, we’ve got whatever has been draped over the little guy – and we’ve got that double-breasted suit, which makes the kid on the right look like a young fogey. I wonder if he’s also wearing spats?
I am a teacher, and think this picture would make a great writing prompt, e.g. “I was on my way to the photography studio when….(fill it in with your own imagination).
I got my necktie caught in a paper shredder.
“I was on my way to ‘Ribbon Day’ at kindergarten, when these two Federal Officers arrested me”
That’s too funny!
I am waiting for an answer to the above questions too…. double the STAT
He’s the only one who seems happy in this picture, though.
I think the little one is a girl, and I think those are ribbons. Late 80’s saw this trend–my sister and all her friends were part of the age that thought ribbons, fabric glue, and a shirt were a good idea.
I think the little guy looks fabulous, and it seems clear that he thinks so too.
What we are witnessing here is the rare “bowl cut mullett.” It takes a special person to be able to that cut off. . .and I still haven’t seen anyone who could.
“The difference between you and me is: I make this look good.” -Jay
So, did little brother’s tie get caught in the shredder just before the family went to the portrait studio?
And that is quite the mullet there, isn’t it?
Need a back story. STAT.
“We’re dressed like that as we had to attend a business meeting right after.”
I..just..don’t know what to say. It’s just all around awkward. Where to start…
Oh. My. Gosh. This is my most favorite thing.
I am RACKING my brain, trying to imagine the circumstances under which this picture was taken…. I got nothing…
Or a mullet. Don’t forget the business mullet.
This is the sweetest awkward picture ever.
It sure is! They may be awkward, but they’re adorable.
As a mother of three sons, I totally understand this picture.
A nice compliment to the mullets.
What is that child wearing???
The hair says, “Business in front, party in back,” but the outfits say just the opposite! What is the little one wearing??? And why???
