Nana doesn’t know what her groove is or why she would want it back
THE BEST!
I can’t handle it!
omg this is spitting image of my grandmother !! way to go grams!
What’s wrong with you, Grandma? That guy’s a total babe!
This guy looks familiar. Do you think he is the only Hawaiian to pose with tourists in the 70ies?
Seventy ies ???
Her expression is priceless. Love the bottle-bottom glasses.
Here we have proof that Mario Lopez is still hosting “name your adventure,”
That Grandma is adorable! I love this photo.
Go Nana!!!
Her expression and the caption totally make this one. Well done, AFP!
*fondle* “What’s this?….Don’t come at me half baked, sonny.”
Grandma Bubbles is actually looking off in the distance at the shopping cart filled with kittens and thinking to herself “Please get me back home to Canada’.
Is that…is that Mario Lopez?!?! Who knew his career spanned so many decades?…
this was one of my very favorite captions on the site!!!
Hi…while it’s def awkward;it seems a tad bit sad to me..The look on her face was Like grandma was kind of “put up to it” & knew she looked silly. I usually laugh a lot on this site & I know many.. maybe even most, folks would find it funny…. I guess she looks like she’s being made fun of; in a not so funny way. I’m a softie… I know.
Liz,
If it makes you feel better, the story I’ve been told is that while she was indeed caught off guard by this photo, she really liked the fellow in the photo with her.
Thanks Amy…. it’s nice to know the real deal!
Terrible caption (made me think “wah wah wah”), but amazing photo! Rachel, please post the one of your grandma!
I agree: terrible caption.
You know, I’ve always admired you guys for keeping it clean and family friendly and monitoring what people are posting, but I’m going to let you slide on this one for so many reasons. Hilarious!
My grandmother has this exact same photo–same era, same lei, almost the same guy, just a different grandma
… and she looks utterly thrilled about it too.
I thought she looked utterly confused . . . “who is this guy and why are you taking my picture?”
