I like recreations when the original picture is awkward. (Anyone could recreate a photo like this).
This picture leaves you wanting for more. There are so many years in between the two scenes that are unaccounted for.
I love these recreations. I still hold my kids and granddaughter like that (until they run away screaming).
LOL! thanks for the laugh…..
Hahahahahahahaha! Funny, yet creepy.
I’m a little disappointed that they didn’t find him a stripy hat, and her a darker pink robe 🙁
I don’t think this is awkward. It’s intentionally hilarious. I find it awkward when it’s unintentionally hilarious!!
ha! that’s pretty creepy.
“Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch. If you’ve read it, you know why this photo made me think of it!
I love that book and it is exactly what popped into my head, also!
It’s a sweet picture.
I thought of the exact same book! I didn’t find anything but beauty in these photos! For the mom crept in and held her son and rocked him and said, “I love you forever, I like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.” My son knows it, my daughter knows it, and I think it is one of the most touching moments in my life when they say to me, I love you forever, I like you for always, as long as I’m living, my mommy you’ll be.” 🙂
And this photo demonstrates why I have always thought that book was creepy! I never read it to my kids. We read “I love you stinky-face.” instead. Same theme, less creepy.
You beat me to it i scrolled down just to say that dangit!
Y’know I think they took a rather sweet photo and actually made it awkward…that’s rare on this site lol
Oh that’s just WRONG on SO many levels.
I LOVE this recreation!
I can’t figure out why the original photo was awkward to begin with??
Now that you mention it Emmy, I think that is the case for many or most of these…I think the awkward part IS the recreation!
