I’d like to check the rest of those drapes. I’d be willing to bet she made her dress from the same material.

Yes, I was not sure what was awkwarkd… Now that someone mentioned the purple flowers, I think it has to do with how the photo is centered, like the purple flowers are part of the family?

Agree, though; if the awkwardness has to be explained, does it truly qualify for real awkwardness?

  3. Shannon says:

I thought maybe the kid on the left was a young PeeWee Herman or something?

  4. Shelly says:

Just have to point out. It doesn’t meet the Akward bar. Not ONE person has commented that this is Photoshopped!

  5. JP says:

They all just look so unhappy — like they would rather be anywhere else.

    • Shelley says:

Yea. Still not akward though? Maybe they are at funeral or something and have a reason to be unhappy? Looks like real life and dated. Not really kooky and awkward?

I don’t think this is awkward, jjust old. And no one’s smiling so it reminds me of an album cover

  7. Shelley says:

    I don’t get it? what’s awkward?

  8. JSB says:

I think it’s the right side flower motif going on … the dress, the curtains, the ACTUAL flowers. There’s where the “good company” lies, I guess?

  9. BT says:

Yep, I’m missing the awkwardness, too??

  10. Jodi says:

Aside from everyone looking really bored or unhappy, not sure what is awkward about this. Maybe that it’s off center?
