My cat, Butterbean, used to sleep on top of my head every night.
It’s a whippet, not an Italian Greyhound. My sister has whippets and she’s constantly wearing one for a hat.
It’s a large IG. Trust me. I’m the guy in the photo.
I love this pic. The guy is just calmly sleeping like this happens every night. He has a strange, yet cozy recurring dream of wearing a magical fuzzy cap that keeps his ears perfectly warm.
And the dog is gorgeous. Dove-grey satin indeed!
This guy must be a hothead — IGs will do anything to keep warm!
I hope for his family and coworker’s sakes he showers every morning.

She looks like an Italian Greyhound, but it would be more fun to say Whippet! Whippet Good!
I had a blue Whipper, the resemblence is uncanny. She was 17 when she left us and I will always carry her in my heart. Beautiful baby !!

Why on earth would this be the normal sleeping position for this dog? Wouldn’t it be easier to keep his head warm with a nightcap? (Do those still exist?)
In spite of the breach birth both are now doing well.
Has anyone else noticed the second dog in the upper right hand corner? I think he’s waiting for his tun on the guy’s head…

That dog is actually a really beautiful color. It looks like a Weimerainer (sp?) mixed w/ a whippet or a greyhound
It’s an Italian Greyhound. They’re the smallest of the Greyhound/Whippet group. The color is called Blue and it is very similar to a Weimerainer’s. They’re fabulous dogs.

OMG – if you change the face, you have my house. Iggy’s are great dogs, but they WILL sit anywhere. And they are like tiny ovens! I love love love this picture.
