AH THIS IS SO CUTE! My hedgehogs name is Willow, she turns 6 months in 25 days. I am planning on throwing her a birthday party and wanted to make her a hat as well. I just hope she lets me stick it on her.

  2. Person says:

How can you not be able to tell it’s a hedgehog?!!

  3. Danielle says:

How did you get the hedgehog to show its face ? My friend has a hedgehog and it NEVER showed its face. I saw it once because we flipped it over on its back. It also wouldnt let anyone touch it so it might have just been really angry or something.

    • Viki says:

That sounds like a normal hedgehog to me. They aren’t very social, don’t normally like new people. Most of the time hedgehogs will puff a bit or pop or put it’s spikes up when you go to pick them up or when strange people are around them.

  4. P1kach00 says:

You guys, I think this might be a hedgehog. Just going off what everyone above me thinks.

  5. Ana says:

Does he have a problem with people/other animals, wanting to sit next to him and cuddle up, due to the unfortunate quill situation? Seems awfully sad he’s just sitting on the couch, all alone, on his special day……

  6. KittyG says:

OMG SO CUTE, what kind of hedgehog is this? i am thinking of getting a pet and a hedgehog like this would be perfect!

  7. Chris says:

Lets take a moment to remember A.

  8. MarE says:

I really want a cute little hedgehog of my very own. I will hug him, and pet him, and squeeze him, and name him George….

  9. Richard says:

I’ve never seen a flying squirrel before D:

  10. Modine says:

The hat is awkward, but that little face could not be any cuter. What do hedgehogs eat for celebratory birthday snacks? He looks like he wants some more.

  11. Sam says:

I just love the little hat strategically placed atop his quills. Adorable!

  12. Vicki says:

It’s only awkward in that the poor little thing just has crumbs to celebrate. Otherwise, one of the top 10 cutest photos on the internet.

    • Tom Flapwell says:

I think he had more to eat; the crumbs are all that’s left.

      • Lily says:

Those aren’t crumbs; they’re pine shavings. I have a hedgehog and their bedding gets stuck on and in between their quills really easily. The shavings probably fell off of him while he was partying and shakin’ what his momma gave him! :-D

  13. LKT says:

No cake for Buster? Just a few crumbs?

  25. Nicole says:

Personally, that’s how *I* party. Hedgehogs always do seem a tad awkward by nature. I think that’s what makes them so darn adorable.

    He’s an African Pygmy Hedgehog
