I think this looks worse than it really is. I bet the brown stuff is just mud and the dog was running through the mud and messed up the snowman by trying to climb on it. The green is just patches of grass that had been frozen and then uncovered. At the ends of the photo there colors change as a discoloration of the photo paper and that’s why the snow turns reddish at the bottom of the photo.
In the end it looks like someone is taking a photo of their infant next to a snowman built on a trashheap beside a feces covered pooch.
this is what it looks like when you are over anxious to build your first snowman with the little one and you failed to rake up all the leaves in the fall coupled with less than optimal snow fall )

Looks like they threw in some of what they swept up off the slaughterhouse floor, too!
