Glory

“The year was 1976– the bicentennial of our country. Our Father wanted to celebrate. So he had my sister and I dress up as if we were Civil War soldiers. We proudly (yet embarrassingly) marched around the block where we lived. But that wasn’t enough.. oh no.. my father had us march around Ben Franklin (the store) and other shops in the plaza like TG&Y and Publix. Looking back 38 years later, I realize its nice to share memories like this one so the world can see just how much we were willing to do for our country!”
