Shorts Story

“This is my oldest brother and his wife, pre-kids. Allegedly, the traveling photographer assured him he would frame from the waist up, but obviously didn’t. But that only explains the shorts, leaving us to wonder about so many other decisions they made prior to sitting for this session.”

Real Life Pregnancy

“All the women now wear tight shirts and dresses showing off their future bundle of joy. They hire a professional photographer to take their picture to celebrate their body during their beautiful transformation. This is not one of those pregnancy pictures.”

Super Grandma

“So grandma brought all the grandkids together and decided to make these great screen-printed shirts for all of us.  Don’t know why she thought she was so ‘super’ with only four grandkids.”

Recreation Ahoy

“My sisters and I decided to do a 40-year recreation of us in these gawd-awful sailor outfits. We had them made and set the stage for a Mother’s Day gift for our mom.”

I Wonder

“On vacation in Jamestown, NY, my boyfriend was insistent to get his photo taken at this abandoned Wonderbread outlet.”

Grand Canyons

“This was taken by my mom in 2014 of my brother and myself along with two other kids while rafting in the Grand Canyon for a week. We had no idea that our mom took this photo of our butts until she posted it on Facebook a week later.”

Balloon Face

“We’d just finished having fun at a church supper and went out to the playground. My daughter had had enough, but at least my wife and son were still willing to smile. I ended up behind the balloon and an awkward family photo was born!”

Floaters

“This is my family photo from 1996. My Dad was attempting to copy the photo from the Beatles album called ‘With the Beatles.’ It just looks like our heads are floating.”
