Husky

Back yard wedding and a husky who could not wait. Maybe too much at the open bar?

The Wedding Gift

“This was our wedding day. We had just finished up taking our wedding pictures before the ceremony when all of a sudden my wife’s step mother screamed “holy crap I just got Edith going number 2 on my phone.” To this day we have it hanging on our wall at home because not only is it hilarious but it is actually a good picture of us.”

Blind Melon

“We put our baby into a watermelon and the result was some awesome.”

Hot Rod

“I drew this Father’s Day card for my dad in first grade (1991). He was (and still is) an auto mechanic and frequently wore a tattered t-shirt that said “Mechanics Have Hot Rods.” Of course, he had lots of cool cars! I didn’t know why everyone found this so amusing.”

Doctor Doctor

“I was thirteen when my brother was born & apparently the responsibility expectation stakes were suddenly raised to a whole new level. Are we to assume that I was assisting with labor & delivery? WTH?”

Sandy

“I’m safely assuming drugs were the reason that led my parents to have a t-shirt of my face made back in the 80’s.  Now, it’s my son’s favorite thing to wear.”

The Great Halloween Tantrum

“I wanted a harem girl costume I saw at Sears but my parents refused to basically get me a slutty costume at 7 years old (which I was totally sure I could pull off, btw) so as a ‘compromise’ my mom bought me this t shirt and hat and I had a full-on tantrum on the front lawn that was so loud neighbors came out of their homes to check out the caterwauling child.”

Recreating The Awkwardness

“Recently, when all my siblings and I were together for the weekend we decided to recreate this photo from 1992.  My brother In the rugby shirt used blue fabric paint to make an exact match to his original shirt, the brother next to him is wearing the same hat from the original picture, and my sister in the back used medical tape to make the stripes on her shirt. Good times!”

Children Of The Corn

“I grew up on a farm in rural South Dakota, and my parents took this photo of me (left) and my brother and sister during the 1990 harvest. I was full of nervous tics back then, puffing my cheeks out and tugging at my already-too small shorts. This past weekend was the 25-year anniversary of that photo, and it was a rare occasion where the whole family was together. My brother, sister, and I stood in about the same place on the farm to recreate this gem, with me wearing my mother’s tank top and dad’s swimming trunks.”

Three Men And A Baby

“My younger sister and brother joined me to recreate a photo from 1988, the year my brother was born. My younger brother is around 250 pounds today, but that didn’t stop him from climbing atop my sister’s lap with a bottle in mouth.”
