Clowning Around

“This is a pic of my husband and his family. My mother in law is obsessed with clowns. Her house is covered in them. This year they were even included in the family pic.”

Shirts & Skins

“My Wedding: August of 2004. In what has become known as a “family” thing, men from his side shed clothes as the night goes on. This is me and my husband’s Uncle about halfway through our reception at a local restaurant/bar.”

Food Coma

“This is my son.  That’s me next to him.  Apparently, enchiladas make you tired.”

Toilet Trumpet

“This is me in the late 80s in Hampshire, England, and I was taking trumpet lessons at school. I was never one for practicing regularly, so perhaps Mum and Dad saw an opportunity – might as well get some practice done while you’re in there.”

Whiter Shade Of Pale

“When my father got remarried after my parent’s divorce, my mother went through the family albums and cut him out of all of the family photos. Using scissors became too labor intensive, so she switched to white-out.”

61 Pins

“Our daughter was in gymnastics and her hands were very calloused.  She thought she would see how many stick pins she could insert into the callouses.  She ended up with 61!  Makes a mother proud.”

Bad Bunny

“Easter 1992 complete with a murderous bunny waiting in an unfinished church basement? The best part of this photo is that no one in my family has any recollection of this Easter event.”
