Three Cats And A Bunny
“Listen, there’s nothing easy about holding three cats and a bunny all the same time. That little bunny, whose name is Arthur, is a big trouble-maker. He likes to bite on those cats when he gets a chance to. But those cats love him anyway. The cats involved are Madjka, Chachka and Pagliacci. I should explain, Christmas was coming and I wanted a picture with my my fur babies. (I work at a photography studio.)”
“But those fur babies were not on their best behavior. I seem to recall that Arthur, that little devil, nibbled at Pagliacci first and then all hell broke loose. Cat and bunny hair flying all around that photo studio. Now, remember this is where I worked. The cats went to running, the bunny went to hopping, and I was just beside myself. Thank goodness it was a Sunday and we were closed. Our display pictures were flying everywhere.”

“My Mom booked this photo shoot. I was 12 and my sister was 15. We have no idea why the photographer thought laying in a pile on my Dad would make a good photo. And how did Mom get out of it? She must have known then how ridiculous it would look. Moms know everything.”

Requiem For A Betta
“I was about seven years old when my favorite betta fish died. I was so devastated that I insisted on hosting a full blown funeral for it. We dressed in all black and even said nice words. My mom took this photo in our back yard before we buried it. My older sister is trying her hardest not to laugh while I stood there holding my dead fish on a paper plate!”
