This Dad Is An Expert At Photobombing His Teenage Daughter

Fatherhood comes with countless responsibilities, but perhaps the most important is messing with your teenage children. This father understands that, and we can all learn from his example.

Twitter user @jolitamarie shared a story of her Dad’s expert pranking, in the form of a photobomb:

Jolita and her Mom went out to the driveway for a shoot. Dad’s Dad Senses sensed an opportunity, and he followed them:

He struck a pose mimicking his daughter’s, (always a strong Dad move.) Whether Mom started laughing, or she just sensed someone was behind her, his daughter quickly caught on:

Being caught didn’t stop him, and he kept on posing for the rest of the shoot:

Well done, Dad. And to all the fathers out there, we hope you’re taking notes.

They See Me Rollin’

“A couple of years ago my daughter had surgery on both of her legs over Christmas break. Tired of being cooped up in the house she decided last minute she wanted to go to a Christmas party with her church youth group. We scrambled for ideas for the costume competition and settled on her being a ballerina from The Nutcracker (her sister went as a nutcracker). This was taken midway through the party when I’m pretty sure she was exhausted and maybe the pain meds started wearing off.  Either way, her friends decided to make her a bit more festive and this is the end result.”

Memory

“This wasn’t for Halloween. I dressed up like this every day after school and danced to the musical ‘Cats’ for about a year.”

Sad Candid Camera

“My brother was trying to get a good picture of me and my girls for the annual Christmas card. This was in between shots. Little one looks like she saw something she should not have.”

Guess Who’s The Stepson

“This is a 1987 Christmas morning aftermath with me, my 6-month-old son Nathan, my 12-year-old son Justin and my 17-year-old stepson Damond. Damond looks thrilled with his present of a new Heater/Fan.”

Dad Got Game

“My boyfriend and his son and I went to a restaurant called The Tilted Kilt in Indianapolis. Didn’t notice the expression of distaste on his son’s face in the background until I posted it on Facebook. Needless to say we got more comments on that than anything else. Not sure what was going through his head, either “That’s gross!” or “Why not me?!”

Merry Gothmas

“This photo is from the year my family got a German Shepherd puppy and more importantly the year I discovered the deep darkness of the soul and Bauhaus. My mom got a coupon for a free family/pet photo from the local Petco and dragged us there for our family Christmas card photo. Since it was free we didn’t get to pick which photo we got, so even though I smiled for like a dozen shots THIS was the one they sent us, probably because the teenager working the booth found it as funny as I do now. I got in so much trouble for it at the time, but I had totally forgotten about it until this season when my mom found it and sent it to me. Luckily she finds it funny now, but I guess since I never stopped wearing all black or listening to music performed by morose skeletons, she has had 20 years to get used to it.”
