Kentucky Fried Mystery
“Oh, just Telly Savalas , Col. Sanders, Mom, my sister, my brother and me. Found this photo in my parents house. My brother, and sister don’t remember how this happened and my Mother has passed away…..we will never solve this mystery and it will haunt me forever.”

Let There Be Light
“I told the family no one could smile trying to replicate the old tintype when you had to sit still but instead it turned out Like the Addams family.”

Angels In The Food Court
“It was family day at the mall and my brother and I were blindsided by this awful scheme. My mother stopped right in front of one of those kiosks where you dress up your kids in mortifying costumes and take pictures of them and of course my Mom was all for it. Our faces are not the happiest, but the best part is my Shih-Tzu hair. Thanks Mom.”

Mood Piece
“My mother wanted to have a nice portrait with her three daughters. This was approximately 1996. My older sister in the Kimono style dress is obviously annoyed. I’m standing, with terrible posture, staring down the photographer with dagger eyes. My younger sister is making a fish face. We are know for taking some crazy pictures, but I think this was a candid moment we continue to cherish.”

Life With Four Kids
“This was our first photo shoot after child #4 entered the scene. This pretty well sums up our home life.”

Cheaper By The Dozen
“This is a family photo circa 1997, of my grandmother and her grandchildren, (including me, the girl on the right in the pink dress and awful knockoff of the ‘Rachel’ haircut.) Clearly, all of us in the photo are a hot mess, considering not ONE person is looking at the camera, and most of the small children look as if they were subjected to the clown from the movie It, right before the picture was taken.”

Who’s That Girl?
“Our family church photo in 1986. I don’t know why everyone is looking at me. I swear I’m posing exactly the way the photographer asked.”
