Fun With Frames

“This is a picture of my sister (on the far right) with her fiance and her new in-laws. She has not taken a family photo in over twelve years and then she poses for this.”

Surprise Fart

“My Dad captured this lovely number after a little photo shoot with my big sister. He farted and snapped the camera at the same time and happened to capture this reaction from me, a super sassy three year old.”

Just For Kicks

“This photo is of me and my family at my sister’s baby shower. We were trying to all get our hand on her belly to feel the baby kick, but there wasn’t enough space for all our hands.”

One Haircut Fits All

“That’s me on the right. I’m glad I got to wear the “Little Mermaid” dress because it was the only way people could tell I was a girl. I was in kindergarten, my brother in the middle was in second grade, and my brother on the left was in fourth grade. Somehow we all wound up with identical hair cuts. Luckily, Mom pierced my ears shortly after this photo was taken. I had endured people calling me my brother’s name one too many times.”

Hiding Place

“This is a photo from my wedding. My sister was surprised when the photographer told her that this is not a common post-wedding shot.”

The Brother Takedown

“These are my sweet babies when they were 2 and 4. Can you feel the love?”

Anything You Can Do

“This is my older daughter – her sister is the one laughing hysterically on the bed.  The little one had been doing ‘acrobatic’ moves jumping through the spaces on her bunk bed ladder, and her big sister thought it would be funny to try it herself. After I finished laughing hysterically and running to another room to get the camera, I did eventually help her get free.”

Not Accepting It

“How a big brother views his little sister getting married.”

Good And Evil

“Everyone knows there has to be one good twin and one evil twin, but that changes from moment to moment. In our family, my daughter on the left is known for making horrible faces, and often we capture those on film by accident. We’re always hoping both girls will smile at the same time, but hey, you can’t have everything.”

Uninvited Guest

“My younger sisters and I with some rad matching shades…Hey! Something’s climbing up the couch!”
