Call Waiting

“My sister was in hard labor for over 24 hours. I just found out she was getting ready to have a C section. So I was on the horn letting everyone know I was able to go in and watch.”

Choked Up

“This is an outtake from a family photo we had taken in the late 80s. My brother must’ve been doing something bratty, of course, but it made for a hilarious outtake and my favorite one from the entire day. This was taken in our house in front of a quilt my mom made… classy background, huh?!”

Got Your Goat

“Me and my brother at the zoo in the early 80s. Someone should have told 4 year old me how this picture was going to turn out.”

Dashing Through The Snow

“Our first family photo with our son and my wife wanted to have Christmas photos taken to send out to the family. I put on a smile, but I have always HATED this photo as we looked like giants in this teeny little sleigh.”

Monkee Mania

“Thanks to MTVs Monkees Marathon in 1986 I instantly fell in love with Mike, Micky, Peter and Davy. Clearly I was still quite smitten when I posed with my extensive collection of memorabilia for my Senior pictures in the summer of 1987. Eventually I outgrew my Monkees obsession but I’m happy to say I kept some of that wonderful memorabilia. And whenever I hear one of their songs I am instantly transported back to high school!”

Man In The Mirror

“I took this picture of my brother showing off a fish he caught.  I did not realize my boyfriend could be seen in the mirror.  Although he looks like he’s not wearing any clothes, he has a pair of tighty-whities on…I think.”

Nana’s A No

“My parents’ family wedding picture and my Nana wasn’t too happy. I can only imagine the photos that didn’t make the album if this was the best.”
