“My mum, me as a little baby and one of my cousins behind us. This was my first Christmas and my godparents gave me this chicken as a gift. We lived in a 2nd floor flat and I was terrified of it so it had to go back to their farm. To this day I have no idea why they thought that this would make a perfect Christmas gift for me but it was the sweetest and most Slavic thing I’ve ever experienced.”

Santa Support
“Every year my mom would take my brother and I for photos with Santa. I always had a fear of him and this particular year I didn’t want to sit on his lap so the photographer sat me off to the side, my mom held my hand and I refused to look at the camera. Don’t think this went on the Christmas card.”
