Eye Of The Tiger
“This was at my high school Daddy-Daughter Dance in 1990. I loved this sweater and wore it often and the tiger is like a third person in the photo. The hair, the sweater…can you guess that I’m a Jersey girl? :)”

Royal Brawl
“We were all restless and sleepy and my son was not wanting his picture taken. Needless to say, I snapped this. I was completely oblivious to all the chaos until I saw the photo a few days later.”

The Rub
“This is my husband when he was 6 or 7. His grandma sent him to school on PICTURE DAY in this shirt. You can’t see the bottom, but the shirt actually says ‘Rub it easy, make it hard.’ No joke. His grandma obviously was clueless. Needless to say, he didn’t wear it to school again.”

Taking The Plunge
“My father took this picture of me, the toddler in the pink coat, at the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris in 1978. All the adults look happy, but oblivious to the girl falling in the water in the background.”

Welcome To The Dollhouse
“This is a photo of me when I was about 2 years old around Christmas time. I’m at a house that was decorated every year with hundreds of dolls in various Christmas-themed scenes, but what a pyramid of dolls has to do with Christmas, I don’t know. I don’t remember this at all, so I must have blocked out the creepiness.”

“C” Is For “Creepy”
“Found this gem while digitizing the family photos. It was taken sometime in the late 70s in Des Moines, Iowa. I’m the little guy with Cookie Monster and my brother, who’s sole comment upon seeing this photo was, ‘miss that hat.'”

Facebag
“I was a cool kid, with my 8-bit face on my tote bag just in case we got separated.”

Cardboard Daughter
“My parents threw a graduation party for themselves after the last kid, (the one on the left end), graduated from high school. The oldest child was out of state at the time and unable to attend. So my mom took a cardboard moving box, cut it out in a shape that resembled a human being, and stuck her face on it.”
