Battle Of The Bulge

“This was taken just before we were attached to a steel cable and hurled through the Thai jungle (like a flying fox – the tour was called “Flight of the Gibbons.”) As you can see, my husband looks like he was quite excited about the tour.”

Show & Tell

“Bring Your Parents to School Day in kindergarten 1990. Apparently, I wasn’t so pleased about who I brought.”

The Team Table

“It rained on our scheduled Pony League baseball photo day, but rather than reschedule photos for a more suitable day, the photographer decided to power forward and move things indoors …or more specifically, set up the shots in the messy, drab, pavilion next to the field. So instead of home plate, there’s now a dirty crumpled up paper towel at my feet. A picnic table doubles as the catcher, and the only thing the concrete wall in the background is stopping is my shadow.”

The Bikini Cake

“This is my granddad and myself.  I can only assume he was so proud of the cake that he decided that his only grandson needed to be a part of such a grand occasion.”

Nogjam

“This is a photo of myself (mom) and my family, minus our oldest daughter, who wouldn’t be caught dead in this photo.”

Rocket Launcher

“This was taken on a beach in Connecticut. My photographer was screaming and we had no idea why. Then she showed me the picture!”

The Glass Blowers

“My Dad’s 85th birthday. Took a picture outside the restaurant which was in a very artsy part of town.  Wasn’t until I posted it on Facebook that a friend pointed out that the writing on the wall behind us was hilarious. Of course it originally said glass blowing.”

The Wedding Tackle

“This is a picture from my sister’s wedding. My daughter is the flower girl and my son is the linebacker. My son would not stand still for the pictures so my husband held him until the photographer was ready. When the photographer was ready, my husband let my son go and this was the result. Please Laugh and ENJOY. We did!”
