I don’t think this is a prom photo, but rather a drama photo – perhaps the backdrop is for a play that the four of them are in. Also, the dress of the girl on the left looks like it’s supposed to be from another era. or it could be a very strange prom photo afterall.
Actually, no, it was Homecoming. Not quite sure about the reason the backdrop was the way it was. And yes, I had an awful dress… And the guys asked us what color our dresses were in an attempt to match their ties to our dresses… 1993 at it’s finest…
what about the guy on the left holding the girls hand almost at her wrist? that’s a little weird way to hold a hand too…

What’s not to get? The girl on the right is barely holding onto the guys thumb… not too much of a connection I suspect, thus the long distance slow dance comment: )
