thanks for taking up for us, Rikki. I heard this photo was up at the bar last week and had to find it and see where it came from! Just for the record, I’m the one in Blue! And we’re still all cool as sh**! =)
Ok, for the person who wanted the “where are they now” update: this is completely for real. The girl works for a book publisher, one brother is an EMT, one is in commercial property management, and one is a bartender in the French Quarter in New Orleans. And for all the references to the “boy band” thing…yes, they do sing together whenever schedules permit, and I should know…I host karaoke and they’re regulars at my gigs. They are an awesome, fun family, and I’m pretty sure this pic was their mom’s idea, cuz she’s just super cool like that.
ok people may not believe me but i actually know these kids (sorta). i went to elementary school with the one in the background. his name is nick and the one on the left is scott. i dont recall the older brother and girls names but i do remember seeing this picture years ago. my friend who also went to elementary school with me linked this to me and i cant stop laughing
middle bro got in a fight with burgundy boy..got a black eye..made everyone wear sunglasses so his battle wound would be covered..then burgundy tipped the shades at the last moment to show he was unscathed in the fight..
All the kids have sunglasses to match the color of their shirts! Maybe their Dad owns a sunglass hut and this is their Christmas photo? Corny and cute all at the same time!
There’s nothing cooler than awkward teenagers with sunglasses on. I have a very similar photo of my best friend and I, except I also had braids in my hair.
random side note, the woman that played Winnie on the Wonder Years has gone on to become a mathematician. I saw her [math] book at Barnes & Noble the other day.
i wear my sunglasses [at photoshoots with my brothers even though it won't look cool in the years to come]
So i can, so i can [look cool, but really i'm making the awkward situation worse, oh well atleast nobody will ever have to see this except for relatives]
Thank goodness the lyricist didn’t go with this, his first draft!
Kind of like “War and Peace”–it would not have been nearly so successful had it been published under Tolstoy’s discarded first title, “War, What is it Good For?”
***Any comments that are offensive to the point of being viciously personal, racist, homophobic, exceedingly profane, violent or too graphic in nature won't be posted. We want to keep this site a friendly place to be awkward. Thanks!***

the founding members of the John Cusack fan club.
Haha Blossom..
OMG! i swear the guy in the blue on the left is my old music teacher from when i lived in minnesota!
There’s something shady about this shot.
LOL
Their futures are so bright they gotta wear shades!
Hahah! I like you.
Maybe the boy wearing the black glasses is blind, so the rest of the family wore their shades to make him feel less awkward…
It’s that incredible new Disney band!
I am totally in awe, like i wish i had blue glasses like this.
Definitely blogging this picture.
I think it’s terribly cute!! I love it! It’s cheesy in a good way!
Because those camera flashes can be so damn bright.
i’m thinking punky brewster.
If that’s Blossom, the guy in the blue shirt must be Jewy Lawrence. Whoa, I mean, just Whoa!!!
They look like they just got saved…by the bell.
This is what The Matrix would have looked like 15 years early & starring teenagers.
“this summer, get ready for a movie so full of cool that you’ll be frozen to your seats!”
What’s most disturbing is when you can tell the photos were clearly taken by a pro!
middle bro got in a fight with burgundy boy..got a black eye..made everyone wear sunglasses so his battle wound would be covered..then burgundy tipped the shades at the last moment to show he was unscathed in the fight..
The kid in the middle with the super slicked back hair just happened to be walking by when this shot was taken
Wonder if they got the same Family sponsorship deal as the Jackson Family!
I have to say my favorite part of the pic are the pimpin gold bracelets and chains.
I’m strangely attracted to the cheeky one in the burgundy shirt…no seriously!
Me too, and I don’t know why!
you know it was the kid on the left with the maroon shirt on who has this brilliant idea!
She totally looks like Blossom! And she is with Joey and Drake and Josh! LOL!
i was thinking the same thing! Josh in his recent lean years
All the kids have sunglasses to match the color of their shirts! Maybe their Dad owns a sunglass hut and this is their Christmas photo? Corny and cute all at the same time!
The guys are a cool brothers boy band, and precocious lil’ sis is their sassy manager.
oh behave!
20$ says all those glasses are prescription
transition lenses!
Just when you thought the 80′s were over…The Jets are BACK!
In the ’80′s it was popular to wear your ‘shades’ inside and outside —
When someone would ask, “Why are you wearing your ‘shades’ inside?” The reply was, “When your cool, the sun shines on you 24 hours a day!”
So cheesy! LoL!
Love this shot! Fun stuff!
I like how the shades match their shirts
Are they any relation to The Fonze? Coooool…
no but they are all waiting for the fonz in his office….heeeeyyyyyyyyy
they have to pop their collars first. slackers.
There’s nothing cooler than awkward teenagers with sunglasses on. I have a very similar photo of my best friend and I, except I also had braids in my hair.
Please share it with us!!!
Do you notice that the boys glass colors match their shirts? Awkward!!
Whoa! Nice catch! “Why, oh why?” is all I can say.
they’re all pretty fabulous but i’ve got to say that burgundy boy is the star of this picture
i need a “where are they now” update. someone get on this. asap.
Bolssom’s real name is Mayim Bialik, and that girl does look like her..
they’ll be back.
I only remember three kids on Blossom…
Win.
Wait, whatever happened to the girl who played Blossom, anyways?
She became like a scientist or something if I remember correctly.
She has a doctorate in something science from UCLA.
Wow, a doctorate in something science! Fancy!
Her name is Mayim Bialik… she also just made an appearance on TLC’s “What Not To Wear” recently.
She was on What Not To Wear the other day. She was still wearing Blossom’s clothes.
She was recently featured on the show “What Not To Wear”.
Blossom is now acting on
“The Big Bang Theory”
She also ended up on an episode of “What Not to Wear”, ironically enough.
I think I saw her recently on What not to Wear.
She was on What not to Wear if you didn’t catch it it the last 12 comments.
Really….What Not to Wear…you don’t say?? heehee
wasn’t she on an episode of “What Not to Wear”?
I think I heard a rumor to that effect…

Don’t twist the blade on these kids in shades, oh no…
That’s what you think, Baxter!
where’s cory haim when you need him? or cory hart?
Because the sun never sets on cool.
haha
Now that is funny!!!
