i went to indiana beach a few years ago, and they were giving these hats away as prizes, i have a few pictures of friends in them. but this is taking it a bit far!
I want to live in America, everything’s fine in America, OK by me in Americaaaaaa!!!!
Dad’s thinking: “Oh crap! Marnie is going to be ticked…. she said, ‘straw placemats’, not ‘straw hats’. Man! We are NEVER going to be invited back with our serving spoons and beets!”
the most tragic thing here is that the ‘brother’ could have been kind of cute without the hat of course lol…ps..where’s grandma!?

I’m guessing the family business is “straw hats” and this is a clever way of advertising their hats as well as getting the family picture done at the same time…two birds (nests) one stone

Why would anyone ruin a beautiful family picture with straw hats? Although I don’t have anything against straw hats, they definitely took away from the stars of the picture.

I am cracking up at Dad’s face. I don’t know why but I feel like I know exactly what type of person he is just by looking at that expression. I also enjoy his hat placement much more then the tilted look of the others.
