I want to live in America, everything’s fine in America, OK by me in Americaaaaaa!!!!

  5. Melissa says:

Dad’s thinking: “Oh crap! Marnie is going to be ticked…. she said, ‘straw placemats’, not ‘straw hats’. Man! We are NEVER going to be invited back with our serving spoons and beets!”

  6. Lori says:

the most tragic thing here is that the ‘brother’ could have been kind of cute without the hat of course lol…ps..where’s grandma!?

  7. Maya B says:

What…no Hawaiian shirts? If you’re going to have a theme, at least take it all the way!

  8. Just my opinion says:

I’m guessing the family business is “straw hats” and this is a clever way of advertising their hats as well as getting the family picture done at the same time…two birds (nests) one stone

  9. norml says:

    Hey Koolaid….Ohhh nooo!

  10. Binky says:

Guy in the back right rules this picture.

  11. Charmy says:

This was the Christmas card, and on the inside it said “We’re going to Hawaii b*****s!”

  12. Gravy-Locks says:

To the gentleman on the far right: why is it you’ve a look of JUST NOW realizing where it is the hell you are?

…that naturally being part of an incredibly awkward family photo.

THAT GENTLEMAN: (suddenly hitting him) “Wait, wait-wait-wait…where am I? This isn’t Wendy’s!”

  13. Max says:

what happened to the christmas card?

  14. silvib says:

Guy on the to right has the right expression for a photo like this

  15. betheremnant says:

I love how they perfectly laid out the seating so no one is peeking through the straw…wonder how long that took~!
It’s like, there is something missing from the pic…pitchfork? nah…overalls?…nah…a real genuine theme so it doesn’t look like they just picked the same random prop out of the photo box and put it on their head??…YEAH…

  16. Kasey says:

You have to wonder whose idea this was, cuz the parents both look pretty horrified, while the kids are trying to play along.

  17. M2 says:

    You’ve GOT to be kidding.

  18. Jamie says:

  21. sls says:

little did they know, those are mexican chips and salsa bowls that they are wearing as hats.

  22. Jenany says:

if the girl on the lower right makes any sudden moves, the guy in the middle loses an eye

  23. Lynda Kaye says:

Why would anyone ruin a beautiful family picture with straw hats? Although I don’t have anything against straw hats, they definitely took away from the stars of the picture.

  24. jules says:

OK, now we’re talking awkward. This one totally is! When I see a picture like this, I wonder what the story is behind it. I mean, WHY did they think they needed a professional photo done of them wearing those hats???

  25. LKB says:

How’d you like a nice Hawaiian Punch?!

  26. TigerFan says:

I don’t think Dad is fully on board with this. LOL

  27. MST says:

The biggest sitcom of next season….. Meet the Weavers!
Or was it “Leave It to Weaver”?

  28. Mark says:

Looks like mom got a straw in the eye. Heeee Haw!

  29. kmja says:

Love how mom has one squinty eye. Think she just got poked buy one of the stray ends!

  30. Kelly says:

The guy in the back looks just as appalled as I am. lol

  31. neverfirst says:

The expression on the face of the man on the right says it all.

  32. Michael says:

Let’s play “what are they thinking?”

    I’ll start.

Dude on top right: “You have GOT to be kidding me!”

  33. Greg says:

    there are no words…

  34. Heather says:

I am cracking up at Dad’s face. I don’t know why but I feel like I know exactly what type of person he is just by looking at that expression. I also enjoy his hat placement much more then the tilted look of the others.

  35. NeonKoi says:

Dad’s like, “What the h*ll is on my head?!” and you gotta love the mullet on Mom’s favorite kid.

    • CatMilker-n-Motown says:

I didn’t know there was a “mom” is this photo until i read this comment. i thought it was two young girls and three older, weird dudes. LOL. now that’s awkward!

    • emm says:

hey waaaatch it—– i think hes a TOTAL hottie–even in that horrific hat!

      • Sam says:

That is funnier than you know-this family goes to our church. The guy with the mullet is actually good looking now that he doesn’t have a mullet.

  36. MCR says:

    That’s the last straw!

  37. KatieMB says:

The hats have taken over! I can’t stop looking at the hats!

  38. CG says:

    Definitely not photoshopped.

  39. Frank says:

    Welcome to HEE-HAW!

  40. Greg says:

Well, I can name five, just off the top of my head….

  41. Sarah says:

At least ONE of them has a “WT*???” look on his face.

  42. ottid says:

Girl on right actually makes it look like that is what you wear everyday…

  43. Heddy says:

I am speechless-maybe they need to add some fruit in those head baskets!

  44. Tabatha says:

Ha ha ha ha! But why????

  45. MLM says:

I think there could be another family member behind one of those hats…….

  46. Sandie says:

All that’s missing is the compound bow.

  47. emm says:

dad is the only one whose expression matches the awkwardness of this photo…

  48. Leeloo says:

These aren’t hats, they’re nests of a very rare type of birds. There are people in the Amazon looking for these.
